This Kali Mandir at Darbhanga House is one of the oldest and most popular spiritual places in Patna. Located on a picturesque site on the banks of river Ganga, the Kali Mandir of Darbhanga House is more than 150-year-old. Generally, this temple is visited by 100-150 people every day, but the number of visitors increases manifold during the Durga Puja.
The adjacent Kali Ghat is being renovated and Marine Drive is being constructed by the government in full swing which will attract more tourists and families to spend their evenings by the Ganga river.

This is an old temple of goddess Kali as per Indian mythology, temple is a part of the old palace building on the banks of holy river Ganges. may devotees come from across the world and is a place of worship and belief.

One of the famous mandir in Patna situated in the campus of Darbhanga House. Its Kali Temple facing Gangaji, south facing. Needs to be developed as tourist attraction by the government.

It was built by Darbhanga Maharaja on the banks of river Ganga adjacent to Patna Collage. Government authorities should take proper care of this Heritage.

it is holy place of Hindus
it is very quite and peaceful place. In every evening Aarti of Maa Kali is organised.it is near to Ganga river,you also enjoy the Aarti of Ganga.

The Kali Mandir at Darbhanga House happens to be one of the oldest temples in the city. It is located on a picturesque site on the banks of the Ganga, it is more than 150 years old. Generally, this temple is visited by 100-150 persons every day, but the number of visitors increases during Durga Puja. This temple assumes greater significance in view of the fact that Goddess Dakshin Kali is installed on Panchmundi.

Any temple or pilgimage have 2 factors- its spiritual energy level and its overall look/maintainance. The Kali Temple, built by Darbhanga Maharaj is a place visited by thosands devotees every day, pulled in by the deep spiritual experience it provides. I visited it 3 months back and was as usual moved by the Bhakti quotient, But its upkeep , maintainace & entry points are badly maintained. The stairs and the narrow passage are broken and the adjacent Ganga Ghat is also in bad conditions. The state goverment & the trust must make a joint plan to improve the conditions there.
