Being from Kolkata, was surprised to see such a huge park. Pretty nice experience, lots of greenery, lots of seating areas to take rest, chill down and/or host homely parties

This is a huge park or il will mini jungle to treck to walk to run to relax to enjoy for picninc !!!

I frequent this park every month during weekends. Love the various plants sections that they have. Very large sized plants too you will be able to see in the park. Parking remains a hassle. Also, outside there are some fruit hawkers all the time.

Tau devi lal is simply nature lover's paradise. It has a big track for walking or jogging and lot's of very interesting plants around.
Parking is an issue there. Fruit carts and vendors make the place a bit messy.
However, if we ignore these, the place inside is very good.

Good place to take your kids to due to the variety of flora in the park. People also can be seen playing football or cricket here and there, although I doubt if it is allowed.

It was a lovely experience on a quiet evening. Lots of benches to sit, chat with friends, just meditate, even snooze on the grass if you want, enjoy the sunshine and the diverse flora that exisyts in abundance there

Temperature is always atleast a degree lower than rest of Gurugram, yet it is inside the city itself. Easy approach to the park. The closed loop of 1km gives a precise idea to long distance runners. There are also markers on almost every 100 m distance. Away from hustle bustle of the city, it's a quite place to relax, do yoga, play badminton or just go for a stroll as couple, alone or with family.

The best place to have fresh air, the greenery inside will just mesmerize you. In the morning hours you will find many walkers, joggers, yoga enthusiasts etc . Sometimes if you are lucky you can hear local old ladies singing folk songs.
Just outside the gate in the morning hours you can find many fruit & vegetable vendors with the fresh produce and also juice sellers selling detox juices. Best is to visit in morning hours from 6-9AM

Gret place for a morning walk and an open gym. Very convinient to approach and very clean. chosse this as your morning walk place.

Whats the periphery of the jogging/running track in this park?

My friend and I walked the periphery at a leisurely pace and it took less than 10 minutes. Therefore I would say the track is no more than 1km.
Hi, I am planning a picnic with my family next month for my birthday. Is picnic a good option & can we carry food here? And is there any entry fees? Please reply ASAP.

It is not a picnic spot. Good for morning and evening walk but not a picnic.
Budha garden in Delhi would be a better option for picnic.

Can we do cycling inside the park

Usually I haven't seen many cycles on the tar road inside .
During peak hours it is filled with walkers / joggers .
So if you want to cycle fast - you might want to go when the park is empty. ( Off-peak time)
However, I always see lot of kids ( 3-6 yrs old) cycling there.
Are dogs allowed here???

Hi There,
Thank you all for your reviews. It seriously help people like us to get familiar with new Places.
I would like to ask if this park has a paid parking ( organized Parking Facility ) or its free and open parking ? Also is it safe to use the park @ 5 am or late evenings as I heard about one reviews where it was advised to be cautious of goons ..
I believe the entry is free..Is that ?
Please advice.

Many questions. I will try to do my best.
1. Entry is paid in the morning and evening hours but is nominal Rs 5. I would be very happy to pay for such a facility.
2. Parking is open parking with no attendant. Though I have not heard of vandalism or car theft but it is always safer to lock your vehicle properly.
3. The place is safe. Anyways, they close the place once it gets dark. Having said that, depending upon your own sense of security required you may decide to move out before it gets dark. Personally, I never felt in danger any time.
4. I would invite you to visit between 7-10am or 4-6pm and see for yourself.
