There is nothing to visit in Raipur Rani except some old houses and temple.

Raipur Rani is a small town on way from Chandigarh-Panchkula to Paonta Sahib, which was once ruled by a queen, who invited tenth Sikh Guru - Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji for breakfast and he visited her palace, which is now in shambles. As a mark of respect to Guru Gobind Singh ji, a small memorial is there, where he tied his mare. People visit this place who come to trace his footsteps.

People like me who have seen this place 2 decades ago now are not able to recognize it. Way back in 90s, my grandmother used to live here and we used to come here for summer vacations. She had the oldest and grandest haveli in the town. And it was a great get together for all us toddlers..! The place wasn;t something to write about then and neither it is now.. Just that you have the old school charm of seeing the green fields, hearing to tractor noises but that again is so old school...!
Now, it is polluting, dusty and if you were to ask me to locate the house again, I wouldn't know where to veer off the road into town..!
But I still remember the narrow cobbled gulleys wherein everyone knew everyone else..!

Actually Raipur Rani is just a small town on the way to Dehradun while going from Chandigarh , Raipur Rani is basically Hub for Haryana Agro industries. Local Cultute local food Local Tradition you can easily Find over there

Raipur rani is a junction, with 3 roads - one connecting to panchkula via toka, the second road goes towards barwala and the third leading to dehradun and further to himachal .

Every city of India has its own definition in terms of its culture, traditions, ethnicity, foods, and language. Form that angle even the capital city Raipur which is not too far from West Bengal and the adjacent areas are quite promising to be thronged by the tourists from across the country. There are several places in Raipur which reflect its preservation of rich history and culture. Mahant Ghasidas Memorial Museum is a museum located near DK Hospital. Established by Raja Mahant Ghasidas of Rajnandgaon, the museum features sections like archeology, natural history and anthropology. We also spotted crafts, paintings, jewelry, and tribal terracotta. We also visited the tribal library. May be I am not one of those culture vultures, but places with rich cultures have always been my weakness; the murals, architecture, sculpture all are simply captivating. That’s why I try to hop places which have great artistic exhibits; such is Mahakoshal Art gallery which exhibits some excellent local art forms. Spiritual places always offer some sort of peace and solace which is missing in the hustle bustle of city life. For the ideal place of such tranquility was Doodhadhari monastery and temple. Legend has it that here swami Balbhadra Das survived on doodh (milk).

It is a town on the Chandigarh - Dehradun National Highway! Nothing much special there to visit but if you are passing through and want some refreshment just visit "Mahadev Sweets" near trilokpur chowk; close to Petrol pump. rest all is not worth taking a halt.
