Myself and my friend, two of us visited the spa at La Marvella hotel, Jayanagar on 30th September for 60 minutes massage and 30 minute scrub plus 10minutes steam and 10 min shower. So total of 1.50 minutes session.
My friend experienced not a good service, the therapist Lakshmi kept on going outside again and again in between the treatment... products required was not organised in advance. Her treatment got over between 5:37pm to 9:10pm with steam and shower! And she reached reception for bill at 7:10pm
My experience was okay but again the duration was shorter for the money paid for. Treatment started at 5:45pm and over by 7:20pm with shower and steam! And reached reception for bill at 7:20pm
When I discussed with Lakshmi Therapist, she was very rude and when I asked her if it was 45minutes massage session, she said “other therapist I don’t know but I am telling you I finished my treatment on time but you are not understanding and explaining same thing ” and also has a very bad body language with all weird expressions. This reply was a shocker..not expected from a service industry staff at all. There are other things she was speaking not mentioned here which were rude. Therapist Uma and one other person was also present at the reception.
Billing experience: WORST I waited for my bill from 7:25 to 8pm and I still didn’t get the bill, had to ask hotel reception to email and not yet received. Reason given system not working. They had 1.5hours time to make bill during the treatment
More than anything it is that you are cheated for money paid. Or be straight forward and tell it’s 1.5 hours treatment everything put together. Don’t cheat for time and money.

Right from the entrance, it felt very welcoming and the Staffs are ever smiling, polite and also the Manager is highly knowledgeable and suggests the best treatment.
Even the Massage was wonderful and very relaxing and calming.
But felt the ambience could have been better especially with the linens..
Would love to visit again for the top notch quality services.

Very Nice, friendly staff. Value for money and message experience was very good... Only thing is they can improve on ambiance by playing some soothing music

I have tried many spa across south east Asia and India. Always Soham spa I had unique experience. All the staffs and especially Manager Santhosh is very helpful and knowledge person. They customize the Teraphy based on client requirement.
A top-notch spa with amazing staffs and a beautiful ambience. Everything is perfectly appointed and arranged, we could not ask for more. We had a truly unforgettable experience at Spa by Soham. Keep up the good work!

We had couple spa package at Sohum Spa LaMarvella Hotel, Very Good Experience, Well Trained staff,offer us excellent spa therapies. The spa have very good wet area with big Jacuzzi, relaxing area. Will suggest to all my friends.

I had been to sohum spa in chennai and i had woderfull spa experince there . Since i am in Bengalore. I thought to exolore the possiblity at La Maravella in south end cirle. Spa located in 6th floor very nice faclity the treatment is as good as chennai. I loved it. There was some construction work going on otherwise spa experinve was eceptionally good. Warm Regards

Clean and professional staff, in jaynagar area, you feel welcome and good treatments. So whenever you are in Bangalore try it. So you can fly out relax back to your destination.

This my second visit to Sohum first one was in Chennai. Spa Located on 6th floor in La Maravella hotel . south end circle very close to metro station. Spa facility is also very nice they have huge Zacuzzi over looking the greenery around . Spa staff are very good knowledgeable , trained and experienced. My therapist name was Ms Laxmi . Looking forward to come back again

I had called SPA and booked an appointment for a massage (facial was inclusive in the package). I was 5 mins early. The SPA manager greeted me and he gave me a form which had questions about my preference about massage pressure and some personal details. Meanwhile the therapist also came (on time) and gave me the welcome drink (a fruit punch). Once I finished filling the form the therapist took the form and had a look at each field I had entered when I finished my fruit punch. I had opted for the Swedish massage, medium pressure. Therapist then discussed briefly with me and suggested that massage would be first followed by Jacuzzi and facial at the last and she guided me to the changing room. It had private lockers so I could keep my stuff and take the key along with me. Then I changed my clothing and out on the robe.
On exiting the changing room I was taken to a spacious room with a sturdy massage table which had steps to climb as well and chairs and some wardrobe necessary for a massage.
She re-initated the conversation to check if the room lighting and a/c was ok? was I comfortable? the general niceties and then the treatment began.
Usually in other places they start with leg / back and finish with shoulders quickly due to lack of time but here the head massage started with resting my back. I was surprised with the strength of her hands. My scalp and head muscles felt relaxed instantly. I was surprised and opened my eyes and was asked if everything is ok. I just noded my head and closed my eyes. Her technique is professional and also it is very uniform meaning the strokes (pressure and times) are done on both sides (left or right part of the body). The oil used was lightly scented and not sticky. In middle of therapy I asked to switch off the A/C and I did not have to tell anything more. She knew exactly what she was doing every minute of the therapy.
I have not felt this relaxed and loose in a very long time.
The 60 minutes flew by and it was not the end. It was just the begining :). I was taken to steam room. It was clean, spacious and very efficient. I was asked how much time I would need the steam and me being greedy I think I mentioned 20 minutes. But I was recommended 12 mins and boy it was more than enough. I was puffing at the end. I use steam at home regularly as well and never miss an oppourtunity to take steam bath be it hotels during travel, SPA's or gym. To be honest this is 1 of the best steam bath I have taken and the best so far in India far better than some very expensive 5 star hotels. Usually steam rooms are small and cramped up and the systems are not efficient meaning by the time the steam is in full strength the time is over. It is not the case here and like I said I was huffing and puffing at the end. Exceptional expeirince.
Then shower was offered and very good shampoo and shower gel was at disposal.
It was not over yet :) A big surprise, it was Jacuzzi time. It was those big Jacuzzi tub (8X8 i guess). It could have accommodated 6 people but I was the only 1 using it. Now, I felt like a king or even a supreme emperor. And again the best one I have seen by far.
After this I was guided back to locker room where I took my sweet time to get back to my clothes since I was cooling down and thinking why I had never been here before.
Once I got ready and got out of locker room I was thinking to ask for water and leave but little I knew that it is still not done.
The therapist mentioned that the facial is pending. I had forgotten and could not re-collect if it was in package so I gathered courage to ask "How much is it" and then got reply with a smile it is included in the package.
So I was taken back to same massage room where I was asked to ly down. A/C was switched on and another delight. It was a very good one facial with scrub, massage cream, cleansing and the rest.
After that I was guided to entrance of SPA where the SPA manager offered me green tea. I refused and asked for water. I was given a bottled water which I drank till the last drop when coming down in the lift.
As soon I came out of the main entrance there was the Valet parking and they got my car in no time and I was officially out of an mesmerizing event. All I thought about on my way back to home is the list of friends / family members I should be recommending to go to this SPA for an fantastic pampering out of the world therapy.

This is best spa in Bangalore, have being going regularly for over 2 years, anyone can blindly choose it over any spa in Bangalore.
Very professional, committed to time, excellent service, once the therapist starts her job you will definitely go to sleep, after steam shower and jacuzzi you can feel relaxed and sleep for the rest of the day.
Once you visit it, you will never go to any other spa.
It has no comparison, it's above all spa
