Highly illuminating experience. Very well maintained museum. Covers wide range of topics. Working models make the experience exciting. Recommend for adults and students alike.

One of the top science museums in India, this place has eight permanent exhibitions covering a wide range of scientific concepts and their applications.
With many hands-on exhibits, visitors can learn a lot and stay entertained as well. While some exhibits were broken at the time of our visit, that minor drawback is ignored while rating, considering the population pressure this place is subjected to and more importantly the fact that a majority of the exhibits were working fine.
One could easily spend half a day here going through the various sections.

Displaying industrial products, scientific models and engines were very useful to IT and Engineering students. Wright Brothers Exhibit and Dinosaur Exhibit attracted many. There were many rare and interesting shows at Scientific Show Halls. Engine Hall and galleries were informative.

The biotechnology section is very good and can be very inspiring for youngsters to take up a career in biology. The other sections may be good too, but I didn't spend adequate time to assess those.

Great place for young kids went there as a family nice science models that make fundamentals of physics easy to understand a scale model of wright brothers aircraft is an added attraction display of various cares police at to a lot of interest

On 10th Dec'22, myself along with my hubby & son got to visit Visvesvaraya Industrial Musuem at Bengaluru. Entrance ticket costs Rs. 85 / head.
It has got lot of Exhibition galleries like Engine Hall, Fun science gallery, Electro Technic Gallery, Space Gallery, Bio technological revolution etc., which are all more informative.
Science for Kids exhibits more about animals, colours, light, sound etc., apart from interactive toys & my kiddoo (around 2 years) enjoyed much there.
It has got a canteen at 4th floor with lot of beverages & food items.
Worth a visit !! Very Informative.

Very informative and interactive place for children .
They have managed well to impart knowledge about machines , natural phenomenon, space etc ..in a fun way
Kids totally enjoyed their trip which almost lasted 3hrs .

I am a huge fan of museums. I really like to indulge in my surroundings and observe all the information that is shown to me. And that is what I expected to experience here at this incredible source of power. However, the basic sanctity of the museum, the discipline was not observed at any point of the tour.
Museums are supposed to be the places to learn something new about the heritage, culture, literature, technology and all the things about the past in our present for the future. But the only thing that I learn is how we,as Indians, are yet to come a long way to reach there. I was totally disappointed not by the museum, but the people visiting there.

Great place for kids, adults who are science enthusiasts. It is made up of three floors dedicated to various aspects of science and technology. It has an old dinosaur species Dinosaur which is the first attraction. The museum also has many large scale replicas of various engines and even the airplane built by the Wright brothers. They even have a piece from the original Wright brothers plane. It has many sections related to space, technology, physics etc. Easily 4-5 hrs can be spent. This place is over crowded during weekends.
Entry fee is Rs. 85/- tickets can be booked online as well. Canteen is on the last floor and a washroom facility is available.
Feedback: no seating arrangement in different sections. Only ground floor has few chairs at the entrance.

Has a small shop with items like biscuits, tea, coffee, samosa etc. Better options once you step out within walking distance.
