Great place to find antiques. The person serving us was extremely well informed. Its on the pricey side but I would like to think they are all genuine artifacts. Well located shop too.

Natesan's Antiquarts, located in MG Road, is one of the most trustworthy places to buy antiques in Bangalore. It also has a good collections of different kinds of handicrafts.

Best place to buy very nice antiques. There is a very good collection of antiques here. Also this concern has a very great history and they offer guaranteed products. Few items to name are like Stone sculptures, wood carvings, bronze items, paintings etc.

If you are in MG road this was one of the place to visit.
If you want to buy souvenir one of the good place.
I felt the place is filled with articles silver\bronze etc.

Located right next to Deccan Herald Bldg on MG Road, this is a "Must go" if only to see true indian art. Museum quality pieces ranging from Tanjavur bronzes, larger than life teak wood carvings to Pichwais, tiny exquisitely carved Sandal boxes and much more.
Bangalore has no museum other than NGMA (which is mostly only paintings). Natesans is as good as a museum. Their staff is well trained. MOst of the pieces are made by their resident artists at Whitefield.
Of course you can also buy the artifacts. Bargaining is possible. While the beauty is for sure, the authenticity of some of their pieces is possibly suspect.
All the same, very worth a visit.
