Our guide was very nice but the tour was nothing special unless this was your first ever market tour
We saw a pretty flower and vegetable market and a small temple . We had quite a bit of information about the temple . Breakfast was at dosa house and then we saw the weavers and dye houses which made the tour worthwhile and these I would have never found without the guide
To be fair this last bit was worth the money fir me but the rest was nothing special if yiu have seen other markets and temple

Very pleasant tour with many intresting stops. True highlights are the breakfast and the various temples. In general walking somewhere in Bangalore can be challenging, but on this tour, the route is chosen such that you mostly walk on decent sidewalks or through parks.

Great way to explore the city that I’ve been born and raised in and still didn’t know so much about! Mansoor does a great job of covering hidden gems in the city, their local histories and connections that one usually misses out without bespoke tours like this. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience visiting the big bull temple that has been an iconic landmark of south Bengaluru.

This 3 hour walking tour provided an opportunity for a 'behind-the-scenes' view of the markets and back streets of Bangalore; taking me to places that non-locals wouldn't see. For me, it is tours such as this one that provides experiences that I find more memorable than tours that simply drive past places of interest. Our Guide, Ali, was very personable and knowledgeable, which added to the experience. Recommended if you like immersing yourself into areas that provide insights into the day-to-day life of a city.

This walk is super awesome. Mr Ali is very knowledgeable and takes immense interest personally to explain the heritage and safeguarding the same. He is an architect by training so the experience becomes much more interesting. I highly recommend his guidance if one wants to explore Bangalore.

Although I was late and didnt had a chance to connect to internet. Mr Ali waited for me for 1 hour and he came back again to our meeting place. Very kind tour guide here in Bengaluru. Tour was amazing, he also have his books and illustrations while explaining the history. Ill definitely come back here for more tours. Thank you so much! Ill recommend this tour!

The guide Ali is a wondetful story teller. He combines facts from history with factual anegdots , mytology and legends and mixes it all in a fantastic way. i decided to read entire Ramayana aftrt this walk. That is how inspuring it was.

We did the Clock tower walk with Mr Ali
Enjoyed the trip
Learnt about the akhada
Saw the Russel Market and beautiful church
Had a lovely breakfast and got to know of good eateries to be tried whenever possible

Visit to a Wrestling Adda in Shivajinagar as a part of the walk.. To learn that it is a place leased by the Pehelwans & owned by a temple trust.. Yearning to try their biryani one Friday afternoon.. Other eateries like Taj and bakeries like Hilal & Everest.. Seeing them sans traffic on a Sunday morning with M. Ali conducting seven of us on the walk was stimulating. Lots of history imbibed.. Saw/visited mosques, temples & a church.. All in close quarters. Before we went inside Russell Market & later Chor Bazaar. Was good to see some truly old buildings - some maybe a century old. The breakfast hosted in the middle of the walking session was quite delectable. Made good friends with the other walkers too. Commend Ali for starting the walk promptly at 8am.
