Some pointers from my recent visit :
- The Chapel and the museum is open / accessible 9am - 1pm & 3-5pm, Mon through Sat. Closed on Sun;
- The Chapel is accessed by walking or driving through Gate #1 of the St. Aloysius College on the hill. Recommended to reach by locating the college on online maps. Confusing directions often provided if the chapel is identified as the destination in online maps;
- Vehicles may be parked near the chapel by driving through the college gate or in the parking lot outside the college compound;
- Trees surrounding the chapel compound have lots of birds. Carrying a binocular is recommended for the bird-enthusiast;

We came here after lunch time just before when chapel was about to open (3-5pm) on 26th Jan. Chapel is one of the many things inside the huge campus and its a worth a stroll to other buildings too.
We roamed around the campus (Museum, playground and many more things)which was extremely clean and calm.
Tip- Chapel timings are 10am-1pm and 3-5pm so plan accordingly.

I remember stumbling upon this treasure as a schoolboy. I opened what I thought was another door and stumbled into a gleaming masterpiece of a church. Frescoes, Latin, stained glass. It was the beginning of a love for things European which has inspired many a holiday as I grew.
I recently visited St Aloysius with my daughter. No more was it a secret to stumble into. A guided tour was available to any that wanted it. The paintings have been restored while the atmosphere remains the same. It was amazing seeing the light of wonder in my daughter’s eye and I think I saw myself in her. A child gaping at the wonders of a world so unlike the rest of the country.

Being an Aloysius student would highly recommend to visit this place for its beautiful painting inside and how it is maintained .it was build by Jesuits missionaries As the chapel is our colg huge campus which is very clean and neat and colg is also worth the visit.

Used an auto rickshaw from town centre to get here. Architecturally well maIntained beautiful inside. Campus was buzzing, pleasant atmosphere.

St. Aloysius Chapel Mangalore is very beautiful. The paintings in the inside walls are lovely. It is one of the tourist attractions in Mangalore. The compound is very huge and very neat. The college inside the campus is also worth visiting. It is very well maintained

Must visit place in Mangaluru. The paintings inside the chapel are beautiful and worth a visit. There is a small museum opposite to the chapel which also worth visiting.

Abbiamo visitato questa chiesa che non è straordinaria dal punto di vista architettonico, anche se in uno stile barocco molto sobrio, ma che ha un interno molto interessante per via degli affreschi di Antonio Moscheni dipinti alla fine dell'ottocento.
Purtroppo è vietato fare fotografie all'interno.
