On 31st May'23, myself along with my parents & son got to visit Sri Venkataramana temple from Sri Ramakrishna Mutt.
Sri Venkataramana temple is located at the heart of the city, Mangalore, which is just 1 km from Mangalore Railway station. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Venkataramana (incarnation of Maha Vishnu).
Other deities available in the temple are Goddess Sridevi, Goddess Bhoodevi, Garuda vahana, Sri Gopala Krishna and Shri Veera Vitala.
We had a good dharshan of all the deities, seeked their blessings.
Had a divine evening at the temple.

Going in the morning with less crowd there, it was a divine experience to see the very beautiful & very neat temple. The main deity is Venkatramana,in all splendour, with Garuda, Hanuman , Lakshmi & Vinayak in the surroundings. A separate Naga shrine is behind the temple.
The rest rooms were very clean. A must see & not to be missed temple.

Would recommend visiting inside this temple and seek blessings to get a divine feeling. Situated on car street, it can be easily accessed by any means.

I’ve visited this temple three times now and with every visit I get to see and experience more. Easy access from the centre of Mangalore this is well worth a visit.

This temple is very well known for its car festival which will go on for almost 5 days. The deity idol is very beautiful. It attracts people from the street. It is a old temple but one should appreciate the way how its been maintained. You also have a lot of eateries outside the temple. The temple is situated very close to Kudroli and Sharavu temple.

The Sri Venkataramana temple holds a 5 day car festival in the month of February every year. This year it was organised from the 8th till 12th of February 2019. It was a grand programme inclusive of religious programmes/ chariot pulling by devotees/ distribution of Prasad & food to community members (Gowd Saraswat Brahmins). The event was attended by thousands of devotees of all age groups. The programme culminated with the pulling of a small chariot on the 11th and a bigger one on the 12th of February. Both evenings the programme continued past midnight with the people enjoying themselves along with family and friends.

Very old temple, maintained in an excellent manner, we get Darshan of the Lord Sri Venkatramana right from the street. Myself and my wife visited this temple twice, yesterday and the day before yesterday. Located in Car street in the heart of the city.
We came out with the fullest satisfaction of having got the Divine Grace of the Lord and the Divine Mother Sri Maha Lakshmi. Feel like visiting Mangalore again for worshiping
the deities.
The wood carvings are very nice, particularly depiction of Ramayana Story in wood carvings is great.

Beautiful Temple - the sanctum sanctorum of Lord Veera Venkatesha visible straight from Carsteet, Wonderful Festivals - Kodial Teru (Mangalore Car Festival), Sharada Mahotsav etc., and delicious food available around the temple. It's always a great feeling here.

This 800 year old famous temple has some divinity attached to it and has a great ambience around it. The annual rat yatra is a must see event.

This temple is a very old temple situated in Mangalore.very beautiful temple and was renovated some 3 years back.
