Mr. Rajan Gurukal, comes with more than 40years of experience in this field.
He does very good massage and explains the process and identifies the pain in our body by himself and tries to treat it.
He spotted my muscle pain right away and worked on it and also recommended his oils to continue the massage.
Don't be fooled by the small entrance and you will surely say it was worth it.
He`s price is slightly on the higher side but certainly worth every penny and he makes the massage oils himself.
Also the bath after the massage is concocted by him with many herbs.
The lady masseuse is also equally knowledgeable and experienced. Gave good advice to my wife.
Overall very good treatment and massage. I wish we had more time to spend with him

This is the real thing, great massage which unwind the body as the mind, highly recommend. T.C. Rajan is truly a master, highly experienced, with deep understanding of the body and well devoted even in a short, 30 minutes massage.

I had a massage here.. Mr rajan gurukal had a massage excellent. . And he diagnosed the problem well and good.. I recommend for all .. when I am get the time .. am visit again

Endroit recommandé par notre chauffeur Krishna, on ne peut pas faire plus authentique mais ne vous attendez pas à un spa tout confort.
Le massage se fait sans chichis sur une toile cirée bien graisseuse (qu'on a renoncé à nettoyer depuis longtemps), les huiles de massage tirées de bouteilles en plastique (on ne vous dira pas ce qu'il y a dedans) et on ressort bousculés avec l'impression d'avoir grandi de 5 centimètres. Quelques douleurs musculaires persistent les jours suivants, mais pas de sensation particulière de bienfait ou de bien-être.
On trouve que le prix est cher pour l'Inde : 3 500 roupies (environ 43 euros) par personne pour une heure. On s'est fait rouler dans la farine si on peut dire.
Si vous voulez tenter l'expérience, négociez pour la moitié prix, cela n'en vaut pas plus.

Since 4 years we have practice Rajan’s real ayurvedic ancestral massage and we are absolutely convinced about his skills. Great Doctor he is also a friendly person as well as his family (Sunita his wife and Aromal and Aïda, two of their child.
You can trust without any hésitation... you will be completely satisfied !

I am a licensed massage therapist in the US and this was the best Ayurvedic massage I’ve received. Mr. T.C. Rajan and his wife make their own amazing herbal oils and remedies in the back. The place is kept clean. This is not the treatment that trap tourists. Highly recommend!

After just 2 sessions my frozen shoulder of 5 years was cured. I was able to sleep on my left side. Thankyou Sunita!

"Want a massage?", the old (well, my age, it turns out) guy asked as we were looking in the slightly musty windows of (what turned out to be) his shop, while walking back to our hotel our first evening in Thekaddy.
we went in, and he made his pitch, and talked. he pointed to the photos on his wall of his father and grandfather. we said we'd think about it.
the next day, we went back, made an appointment for an hour later.
my wife's massage was provided by a woman, a student of Mr TC Gurukkal. i am told it was a great massage, that the masseuse had very strong hands.
my massage was by Mr Gurukkal himself (i asked him if his son, who had been in the shop, was going to take over the practice; "Please ask him and let me know what he says", was the reply, "I'm also curious to know!"). and, the massage was wonderul.
after the massage, i had (and, later, my wife also) an herbal bath (well, a "bucket bath", where you pour water on yourself).
all in all, a great experience which had us wondering, "hmm, i wonder if we could maybe come back to Thekkady next year, stay a few more days..."

L apparenza inganna il centro non è curato nel aspetto ma lui il signore del massaggio è un gran maestro sotto le sue mani sente tutto quello che siamo non bisogna anticipargli niente ho fatto massaggi in tantissimi posti e paesi Tailandia Malesia Indonesia in Italia ma credetemi in questo posto c'è l eccellenza . Per le donne c'è una collaboratrice del maestro di pari livello decantata da mia moglie . Sono stato molto fortunato ad entrare in questo centro e incontrare questa persona fantastica . Grazie maestro ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Bad service and massage in kerala
Rooms are note good service there chetting coustomers the are ask to much money for massage and the giving bad service the are telling the are making own fresh oil but everything fake no go this massage center bad experience for us

The place is really dirty and I was freezing during the massage. Shouldn't be like this. The massage itself was mediocre, definitely worse than expected. The person who did it was either asking nonstop: "Good massage? Will you bring me more clients?" or replying his phone. Relax in silence was never possible. To dry myself I received a newspaper and the shower was just a bucket. Awful. The price was twice higher then in a good hotel, where they did great massage in a perfect clean room. So, I consider it as a rip off.
