On a weekend in the month of February, 2023, my younger brother – Prateek took us on a shopping spree to the plush “PHOENIX MARKETCITY MALL” in Pune. He was much excited to take all the four of us together to haunt the sprawling mall and also shop for myriad merchandise over there.
On entering this mall, we ascended the elevator to reach the next floor. It was lunch time already, so at first we set foot in to the stirring nimbus of the Japanese nook, “The Shizusan”, where we feasted on Japanese cuisine. Prateek ordered dishes like three different varieties of Japanese noodles, some seafood Sushi and Dimsum that all of us chowed down eagerly for the money that Prateek blowed out especially for us to indulge in this hearty luncheon! At first, we relished three soupy variety of Japanese rice noodles. Me and Prateek had the first variety of noodles combined with green leafy veggies, large sized mushrooms, well-cooked fish and chicken slices, egg yolk and the spicy broth with soy sauce and other spices! Dad tried the second version of noodles which had a healthy mix of chicken broth which was yellow in colour with a dash of Japanese spices! Mum too savoured the third variety of noodles which included a sufficient portion of shrimps, squids, fish and even veggies dipped in a healthy soup!
The ambience of this upbeat bistro seemed to be tranquil and the furnishings inside were elegant! There was space outside this joint for guests who would prefer to dine “Al Fresco”! Once our platter of Sushi with cured seafood and chicken meat was placed on our table, we noticed the Sushi came in beautiful hues of pink and orange sprinkled with sesame seeds and all of us dipped it in soya sauce to infuse it’s toothsomeness and aroma! Then, once the chef produced the lip-smacking delicious “Dimsum”, we observed the dish came with steamed rice shell stuffed with seafood or otherwise chicken and Prateek was more than tempted to snack on it avidly! Still, after this, Dad and me felt we needed a scrumptious Pizza at the popular “Pizza Hut” Pizzeria! So, next we were at the “Pizza Hut” where we gorged on a Spicy Herbed Chicken Pizza with cheese and veggies all sprinkled over it! It was indeed filling and tasty too!
Afterwards, at the mall we shopped for some clothing in the Max showroom. I just opted for a body-hugging pair of green cotton pants extending from the waist to the ankle that would fit me when I move out for a brisk walk! Then, quite leisurely we ambled all around the mall. Just close by we sighted a coffee shop where lively people swarmed to clasp their hot cup of brewed coffee! We had freshly brewed Classic Filter coffee and the aroma seemed so enticing! I found the price of this coffee quite reasonable and after sipping this I actually sprung up to life!
Whilst engaging in a conversation between ourselves and then enjoying such amusing activity as window shopping, while hopping up and down this mall, next, we decided to go for a grub by night to the “Suratwalla Mark Plazzo” a fabulous joint where we could munch on scrumptious burgers teamed with potato fries. We placed the order and also included a Berry Blast Milkshake for me and three Pepsi cans for the rest of us. The potato fries were of two varieties – one was “Peri Peri” with chilly powder and the other was with a sprinkle of molten cheese! It was fabulous!
We also clicked snaps of every activity that made us feel ecstatic during the day! This incredible visit to the mall to shop for articles, then to taste cuisines as well will be endorsed in these bubbly snaps that I have clicked for a memoir!
Then, it was time to get back home by the paid taxi we had arranged for the day. En route we again had an interesting discussion that kept us engaged again for hours until we reached home! Wow, this was the best time to converse amongst ourselves while the taxi moved and we could even watch outside the window the crowded streets and as usual the hubbub of the city life in Pune! I would certainly be only too happy to revisit this major urban city once again with Prateek and my parents to be pleased on yet another outing!

Phoenix Market City is a place which is one of our favourite place in Pune or anywhere, the mall is big with almost all the brands available. There is ample to do here both for adults and kids. The food court has lot of variety. The highlight is Star Hyper Mall where you can purchase everything you require at discounted prices.

Must visit the Ishaara restaurant in the mall. You are served by deaf mute staff who are extremely polite . Very hygienic and tasty food . There is a “normal” supervisor in case you want to communicate any special dietary requirements ; for the normal menu just pointing to the item on the menu card suffices .

Nice mall in pune also big for visit you have to take more time because in 1 hour you can't view all places if you are there must visit Aga Kha Palace that is also near 1.8 km

Good experience, shoping in this mall from October to December, while travelling on business visit to pune. Very clean, well maintained, security, live performance.

Everything is great in the Mall, Lot of space, all brands outlets, nice food court and restaurants. Very good decoratio nand lighitng.

No doubt it’s one of the best mall but now it’s quite expensive. Individual stores outside are pretty cheaper than same brand inside. I think mall management is charging heavily to the brands to be the part of mall.

You can park. I don't think they will push your car out for 2 days but their charges are heavy.

Hi there. Yes they are available free of cost. All you need is your original Govt ID card and while leaving you can take your ID back. :)

I think it is Rs 30 for cars, and not sure of scooter but will be less than that.

Hi. There could be a cloak room in PVR Cinema (top floor). However you will have to watch a movie then :)
Other option is to visit big stores like Pantaloons, Lifestyle, Reliance trends, Star Bazaar etc - which keep your stuff before you enter the store. So you can keep your luggage there, enter the store from lets say Ground floor & exit it empty handed from 1st floor (just an e.g considering Lifestyle store on Ground floor). Then you can roam around in the mall. Once you are done, you can come back & collect your stuff.
