We had one night safari in the Thar desert. We enjoyed visiting the small farming villages. It is a working desert so there is a lot of farming to look at. The camel ride was broken up to small, comfortable increments. We enjoyed the sunset and star viewing. The food cooked over the camp fire was delicious. Hussein was very knowledgeable and friendly!

Two friends and I had a lovely experience during the Crazy Camel Desert Safari! We were taken to a part with no tourists so it was a really unique, quiet experience. Hussein and Akbar were really friendly and showed us how to make fresh chapatis and cooked us delicious meals. We slept in the dunes under shooting stars and the Milky Way. But the camels were the highlight for sure; they loved cuddles and were so calm and well looked after! Will go again for longer, next time we’re in Jaisalmer :)

Coming to Jaisalmer, we were looking to go to places like Sam and Khuri to have a desert experience, but quickly the friendly family hostel of Jamin made us feel welcome. He explained everything about his own unique experience hé offers in the desert.
So one day later we left with two other German girls to the desert. Hussain and Akbar guided us excellently through the Thar Desert and made good food for us. Gazing at the stars at night without anyone nearby was something to never forget!

We stayed at the Crazy Camel Hotel for 2 nights and it was awesome !! You really feel like home! Everybody is super welcoming and you’ll have the best experience ! Highly recommend! Also do the Safari Tour with them, absolut my fantastic! We will be back!

Love the whole experience with crazy camel safari… this is my second time and these guys effortlessly and very efficiently handles the whole overnight safari experience. The dunes are untouched and quiet , surreal experience to have…and Hussain bhai makes amazing dinner😁

I took a safari in December 2022 with crazy camel. It was a really nice experience with good, trustworthy guides who made me feel very safe as a solo female traveller. Their safaris are good value and you will stay away from the main tourist camps and really have the feeling of being deep in the desert. Their hostel is very nice and comfortable too. I would recommend!

Super bien! Akbar, Housein y Babu nos han cuidado como a su familia. Cocina deliciosa en el desierto, amables y atentos! Disfrutando de las dunas de arena y del cuidado de los camellos, hoguera, cerveza fría, pollo, puesta de sol! No ha faltado nada.Sin duda repito !!!

I have visited here many time and they change Safari route, so It's new experience for me again. We can trip with lovely camels,see big dunes and stay there. It feels so natural and chilling. Desert was very green in July also.
