Went with Lightning and Jessica who made our experience an absolute stunner. Definitely recommend! The longer zip lines weren't running this time around but it was fun none the less.

I understand that during Covid the experience may be a bit altered. When reading about the zip lines was expecting a couple hours adventure, actual zip line ride was about 45 seconds. Too expensive for the little fun that was delivered.

Thanks for your review. Our main priority is to be able to offer a fun atmosphere for guests during all seasons, but due to restrictions from COVID-19, we are unable to provide all the amenities our guests come to expect, like our full Zipline Adventure tour. We've had to cut back on our offerings, while keeping the safety of all guests and employees as our top priority. Visit us again next summer!

We did the family zip line since my son did not weight the 90 pounds required to do it by himself. He had a blast (he is afraid of heights so this was a challenge for him)!
For the family zip line it is pretty short only took about 10 minutes or less for them to complete the whole thing. With that being said I think it was a little high ($) for such a short time.
My son can’t wait to come back and he weighs enough to do the big one.

Hoy hicimos el zipline y fue increíble queremos agradecer a todo el equipo de Cabo Adventure por hacerlo posible Héctor, Ramón, Alex, Nico y Máx son super profesionales en todo momento nos sentimos protegidos, recomendación para el turista : confíen en el equipo CABO Adventure tomen todas las recomendaciones no llegar tomado ni crudo para que puedan disfrutar los paisajes que son increíbles!!! Y déjese llevar preferencia pantalón mezclilla, tenis, gorra y lentes.

Our family had a fantastic first time on Zipline Tour Adventures at Angel Fire, NM . Seth and Breen our knowledgeable experienced guides, were good and patient at explaining how to do it and made us feel comfortable. We will do it again!
We had such a great time! The check in process was quick, and we started right on scheduled. The staff was really friendly, and the transaction was easy. The chair life up and down had breath take views of the valley. Our tour guides were amazing. They combined their humor and wit to put us at ease and help teach us what we needed to be safe. Since it was the last weekend of the season, no one was there to take professional pictures. The guides told us to bring our phones and they would take pictures for us. Having those memories made the trip truly special. Thanks so much for being patient and kind.

We (me, husband, two sons 16 and 13) went zip lining at the Angel Fire resort this week and had a great time. The tour guides/instructors were friendly and knowledgeable. I was a little apprehensive initially (for me and my younger son) but they were great and helped a lot. The course was exhilarating! There are four zip lines and there is a small amount of hiking between a few of them. The guides understood that people aren’t used to the elevation and so the pace was reasonable and they stopped mid way for a break.
As for how it works, you have to be between 90 and 250 pounds—they weigh you behind the counter so no one sees. You need to make reservations in advance and arrive about 45 minutes before the tour starts. After checking in, you take the chair lift up the mountain (gorgeous views!) and then meet up with the guides who get everyone fitted with gear. They also check you several times throughout the tour and readjust your harness if necessary. Anything you bring with you on the zip line needs to be able to be put in a zippered pocket; if it doesn’t fit they will keep it for you in the little cabin. They have water at at least a couple of the stops. Our tour had 7 people and took about an hour and a half. When it’s done, you can hike down the mountain, hang around and explore, or take the chair lift back down.
If you are good with heights, this is a great excursion. I thought it was very reasonably priced. My family really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Had a great time on all 4 of the Zip-lines, I enjoyed taking the Chair Lift to the Top of the Mountain.

Thanks again for the review, Sedonarjr! The zipline at Angel Fire Resort is amazing fun! It is a guided tour and does require some short hikes but the views from 10000 feet are incredible! The best time to reserve a zipline is first thing in the morning. Monsoons and lightning storms can occur in the afternoon...so for best weather and fun...book early and in the morning.

I took my friend Ziplining in Angel Fire for her birthday. She was a bit hesitant but quickly overcame her fears and we both had a wonderful time. Our guides made us feel very safe and made it a very enjoyable experience. I would suggest getting there when they ask as the check in person was not very happy with us that we arrived right about the time the tour began. He was a bit rude and unfriendly. We got through that hiccup and the rest of the day was spectacular. The leaves had just begun changing which made the views breathtaking. Tip: if you have bike shorts or bike pants (depending on the temperature at the top of the mountain) wear them cuz it will provide you with some cushioning from the straps holding you around your legs. Have a great time!

Ziplining with family, son, daughter in law, and 5 grand from ages 11 to 17 along with the ringleader, Grandma, who organized this outing for her 70th birthday. Some of the kiddos were apprehensive about the quad chair lift and the zipline but once we were geared up everyone of us had a blast including Grandma. So much fun!!

What is the minimum age to Zip Line? My grandson is 6 years old

There is a minimum weight of 90 lbs, so if your 6 year old grandson doesn't weigh at least 90 lbs, he would not be allowed on the line.

I am coming to angel fire in middle august & staying at a family cabin. Do I need reservations ahead of time? If so, how much ahead?

If you want a guaranteed spot, yes you need a reservation at least 2 days in advance. You can do walk up, but if they are busy you may not get in.

How much dose it cost for kids to ride the zip line

Cost was $75 per person for chairlift up and down plus 4 ziplines. The youngest in our group was 16 and pricing was the same for all of us. I did see there was another option with only 2 ziplines and I believe the cost of that was less (I saw on another website it was $20 but not sure if that is accurate). I didn't notice any discounts for kids, but my kids were too old to qualify so I may have just overlooked that.
