we saw quite a number of crocdiles and a lot of birds especially the greater thick knee which was very close to the jeep

Lake has a good amount of water even in summers. It is home to many birds and crocs. Deer, antelope, wild boars and even tigers are often spotted near this lake. It falls in zone 3 and 4 of ranthambore

The pond is inside the tiger reserve of Ranthambhore National Park. Different varieties of birds can be seen during summer months. Very beautiful place!

It's। a natural lake ,,one of the 3 lakes u run along the zone 3 ,,and touches also zone 4 but not sure ,, it's the area where crocodiles can be seen, this lakes serves best for bird-watchers, the lakes area used to be territory of Ranthambore Queen tigress.This lake is home for few bird species ,,kingfisher and Marsh Crocs. Small but beautiful

Chances of seeing the tigers in this area are quite good and it adds to the photo quality. If I remember correctly it is located in zone 4 and a good place to see sambhar, boars and birds

The smallest of the three lakes in zone 3 of Ranthambhore National Park , Malik Lake is a heaven for the bird watchers . Being an ardent bird watcher I spent around a half an hour around the lake observing the fishing by Little , intermediate and Large egrets ; King fishers ; Open bill storks and painted storks in the morning of 19th June , 2018 . I counted two Indian marsh crocodiles too . The lake was surrounded by number of banyan trees .

Yes ...it is the core area. Where one stands a good chance to see the beautiful beast...even if u miss out on that ..the beautiful forest and sense of uncertainty thrills you all the while..nice one for nature lovers . Certainly recommended !
