Please make this your top priority - this was home to Ramana Maharshi and this was where he had his first experience of self realization - well maintained by Tiruvannamalai Ramanashram trust although the approach road should have proper directions to guide first-timers.

We visit many places of worship to pray for our well beings, our family, our business, our good life etc..
There are many places of worship for all the people..
Only some places have very good vibrations and calmness in it.
That calmness will spread peace of mind and a sigh of relief to the people who come there in search of it .
This place is one such rare, precious place to visit and realize ourselves .

Dieser Ort ist außergewöhnlich. Es war eine tolle Erfahrung ! Ramana Maharishi ist eine beliebteste Saint Indiens. Seine Ashram in Thiruvannamalai ist auch sehr gut und ich empfehle alle deutsche mindestens einmal diese Ashram zu besuchen. Sehr empfehlenswert !

This temple is located very near to Meenaskshi temple. Too good place for visit with family. Easily reached by local transportation.

Some places in our surrounding are always gifted. Mostly, these places are not known to us or we rarely visit such places..
We plan for a long trip to see various temples and do our prayers..
We fail to realise that the places we visit to make our prayers usually give us very less result unless we realise the power and importance of the divine places in our surrounding..
Ramana Mandhiram - The name itself portrays the importance of this place..
Many people who visit Meenakshi Amman Temple does not know this place..
You can sit in silence and meditate for sometime in the room where Ramana maharishi realised the "Real Truth" of life and death..
A small building with enormous vibrations and calmness..
Your inner mind speaks here and you could realise the mistakes being situated in front if view when you are meditating here..
We plan for a long trip to see various temples and do our prayers..

This is the place where the great sage Sri Ramana got enlightened when he was just a teenager. I must say ,this is an offbeat place about which many tourists do not know ,however it's very strong and powerful place to contemplate and meditate . Located in a street opposite South tower. A must visit

The silence can really be "enjoyed" is something that you can experience over there. You would experience that the animals can be spiritual and calm- when you will "mingle" with the monkeys, feed dogs, hear the melodious sounds of peacocks and make friends with the other creatures there! The good thing is that there are no strict schedule to follow on a daily basis and the better thing is that the schedule is so good, so good that you would love to follow it happily!

Ramanar was a well known Saint of Recent ages.. He is god's child who came to uplift the life of us..
In his younger age, Ramanar came and stayed here.
This is the place where he got his spiritual
Realisation..
This place is situated right near the south entrance of Meenakshi Amman Temple..
A very powerful, vibrational place..
You could do meditation here..
Silence and peace can be felt inside your mind when you meditate here..
Don't ever Miss this place.

One of the best place for Meditation. Daily evening 6pm there will be group of people who have been involved in meditation and bajan.

This place ,where Sri Ramana Maharishi found knowledge and enlightenment at age 16 lies just opposite the South gate of Meenakshi Amman temple in a small lane . It's a very powerful place and has great vibes . One must visit ,even for ,say 10 minutes if in Madurai
