The nature walk is really great, highly recommended. Birdlife is amazing. Views of Taj Mahal beautiful. Only losing marks for not having a decent map anywhere, and a fibreglass zoo that is smashed to smithereens.

The Taj Nature Walk is an under-rated gem in Agra. It consists of forest land, with hiking trails among dense wood, packed with a good deal of birds (not any that I could identify). But a fine place to walk around (especially in the mild December sunshine) and enjoying the bird calls drifting in the midst of trees. There are designated look out points from where the Taj can be well seen, including benches to park oneself. I would say one hour is the bare minimum. But there are some off-beat paths that go deeper into the woods. There are washrooms in the main area, including an open lawn, ideal for picnics and even some swings for the children. It is interesting that this nature spot is so close to the Taj and easily accessible from the Taj East Gate Road. I confess the entry ticket is no longer in my memory but it was completely worth what this place has to offer. Bonus point was that it was not crowded, unlike the hordes of visitors (local and international) at the Taj Mahal.

What a great time spent at this forest land with my 6 year old! Loved the hiking-like trails and foraging into natural tree tunnels around the lake. What beautiful sightings of our national bird- the peacocks and so many other birds like Parrots, Mynah, etc. Collected almost 15 peacock feathers dropped by the birds in the forest park here and there around their dwellings. The machan view is also good. Can have a side view of TajMahal also at Noorjahan viewing point. Take 2 hours time at least to enjoy exploring this vast walk area. Disabled-friendly ramps are also there in most parts leading to toilets- which were unfortunately closed at the time of our visit.

A walk around a bird and nature park just outside the entrance to the Taj Mahal. Really nice and relaxing place for a walk used mainly by locals rather than tourists. Loads of birds. Well worth going if you like a walk in the country. You can do the shorter walk on paths or head off into the countryside.

Right in the middle of the city! This nature walk is an oasis of peace and calm. There are many opportunities to get viewings of wild birds in natural surroundings. Best to visit at sunrise or towards sunset. The local authorities have gone to much effort to place useful information on the wildlife that may be present. The walk also offers a great chance to get a good photo of the Taj Mahal.

A pesar de cerrar a las 19.00hs puedes salir más tarde saltando un muro pequeño de la entrada :) hay que ponerse el anti mosquitos!

Taj Nature Walk is host to many animals and birds like peacock, Robin, Flycatcher, Pigeon, parakeet, squirrels and Hyena etc. The staff is cooperative and humble. There is a Taj view spot as well. There is a little water lake too which is a home for water snakes. There is a butterfly park coming up too. The lush green lawns tempt and gives you a cool and peaceful feeling.

We went for a walk early in the morning. It was a great nature walk where we saw the Taj, peacocks, parrots and a lot of other birds. It’s a very neat and clean park.

Even in this scorching summer it was like cake walk since the breeze was cooling us like a natural air conditioner. There was no dehydration as we were consuming water like anything.

We found this walk just off the main road to the Taj - what a hidden treasure. Initially I thought it was going to be 200 m loop but the paths are extensive and lead you to fabulous views of the Taj. Amazed that there were very few people enjoying the space and serenity so close to the Taj. Provides a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle - would be great for a picnic. Great value at 100 rupee pp
