Thank you for your feedback and review. Depending on the tides we either have a beach departure or on the jetty. So sometimes you may be in the water to board the boat. I have done many trips to Lembongan. Sometimes its smooth enough to sleep, other times it can be a little bumpy. But the trip is always safe and like you say, it is only 30 minutes. So sorry to hear you get seasick though, that's not fun at all so I can imagine you were glad to get to the island. Thank you for travelling with us and we do hope you board Nacha again the next time you head to Nusa Lembongan.

Thank you for your feedback. The island is enjoyed by people from all over the world but perhaps you noticed the Chinese guests as they tend to travel in a group rather than as individual travellers. We are glad you enjoyed the discount offered by the staff. With the smaller boat taking you to the larger boat, that is due to tides and cannot be avoided. The bigger boat can't make it over the delicate coral or reef without causing damage so the smaller boat is used during low tides to get guests to the bigger boat. As for the captain steering badly, I can assure you that safety is our main concern so his crazy steering was in fact how he has to navigate through the high waves to ensure the boat stays on course and can get through the waves safely. As for the drunk passenger, what a shame. We hope this explains and gives you some comfort to spend time on Lembongan again. Thanks

Yes you are quite right. Most boats are required to have a beach arrival and departure. The tides in Bali are very high so it is simply not possible to have a jetty where the boats come into the beach. Lembongan has two main areas on the beach where the boats come in - chosen because the tides are lower and therefore safer for guests. Nacha Fast Boat Bali has just recently moved operations in Sanur to an area further down the beach with a jetty, please keep in mind the jetty is long to accommodate the fabulous tidal changes we have here in Bali. We are sorry this wasn't explained to you before you bought your ticket, we do apologise for any inconvenience.
