A group of 7 booked and paid $25us cash only on arrival - I think this varies a bit! We were picked up in Seminyak early. Quite a drive to get to the Telaga Waja River but well worth it. Belongings are left in the bus except for small items which are placed in a water proof bag. We had a brief safety briefing then headed off with our guide Ketut. He was fabulous and plenty of fun. We were able to race our friend raft. 16km long with a drink stop under a waterfall. You can have a swim at the end if you like then it's a short walk up to showers, toilets and buffet lunch. Surprisingly we started with some of the best pumpkin soup I have had! Nice lunch and you can buy beer and soft drink. There is also photos taken along the way that you can purchase for 100k rp or a disc full for 350k. The photographers hadnt been pointed out to us so they could have been better but we did get one going down the 4m drop. Overall a great experience that I would recommend! Just phone and negotiate your price!

My 2 teenaged kids and I took a rafting trip with BIR, and were very pleased we did. We booked our trip direct and were collected on time by our driver Nyoman from our hotel in Sanur. On the way we had a pit stop at a kopi luwak place and got to try a raft of beverages (sorry for the bad pun) with the civet cat special an option for $5 equivalent. Worth doing. When we arrived at the launch site we paid our fee and kitted up with quality floatation vests and helmets. A thorough and practical safety briefing and then underway for a 16km adventure down the Telaga Waja. 4 in our raft incl our guide Made (10 yrs experience and knows his stuff). All footwear and valuables go in a double sealed waterproof bag. Even your watch needs to come off! Action cams are not a problem. I tied mine into the top buckle of my vest and jammed the float grip down the front. This worked just fine. Highlights of the trip incl stopping to checkout a waterfall, before rafting underneath another. Very refreshing! The best bit was he 3m+ drop off a dam which was a genuine thrill. At the end we tipped our guide before showering and lunching at a local warung. Good food and bevvies available. Back to our hotel in Sanur by 3:30pm. A great day and recommended without hesitation.

Done a few of these and found this is one of the longest about 17 kilometers in 2 and half hours comes with a shuttle bus pickup and drop off with fresh cooked buffet lunch at riversde not many stairs either with others having up to 200 stairs to get out of river to road...price varies from $77 but we struck a deal at $30 each

This rafting company was recommended by our driver. It was the first time for us and was amazing. We went with family that have been rafting in Bali before and they all agreed that this was the best.

I did the trip with my two older teens.
I was a bit apprehensive at first because BIR is more of a budget company.
However we had no complaints. The driver was on time, there was no waiting when we arrived. Helmets and life jackets on and we were away with just the 3 of us plus the guide.
The river is tame by rafting but there are enough thrills to keep you interested.
We had a great guide who was professional and knew the river well.
The journey is a fun 2 hours.
At the end there had showers, towels and a local lunch. The lunch was simple but very tasty. Great pumpkin soup plus a selection of Indonesian dishes. There was plenty to eat.
Note: at the finish if the river there are a few steep steps. This shouldn't bother many people.

Tout s''est parfaitement déroulé et l'accès au départ et à l'arrivée sont faciles.
La descente a été conduite sans accrocs par le sympathique pilote.
Le cadre est extraordinaire pour une descente en raft.
Je conseille cette Sté pour le raft au vu des retours d'expériences que j'ai eus par des amis qui ont choisi d'autres prestataires.

Voor 30 Dollar een fantastisch all-in pakket.
We werden netjes door de taxi voor ons hotel opgepikt, na een uurtje rijden aankomst.
Vlotte afhandeling van inschrijving, betaling, aandoen van zwemvest & helm.
Daarna begonnen aan het afdalen van de trappen; 21 verdiepingen
Goede uitleg door de gids, daarna vertrokken voor een ruim anderhalf uur durende tocht met tussendoor een stop waar drinken kan worden gekocht.
Onderweg een goede sfeer, leuke gids, (1 per boot) leuk contact met andere groepen. De tocht is goed te maken met kinderen vanaf een jaar of zes schat ik zo in. Uitdagend genoeg voor een eerste keer met het hele gezin. Een volgende keer zou ik zeker een meer uitdagende rivier kiezen. Voor nu was het meer dan prima. Na de rafting is er nog een maaltijd, hiervoor moeten ook eerst een behoorlijk aantal pittige trappen beklommen worden en wordt je geleid door schitterende rijstvelden (ongeveer 25 minuten lopen voor aankomst bij het restaurant)
Je krijgt direct na het raften water en een droge handdoek aangeboden. De maaltijd bestond uit verse warme groenten, mie, kip en kippensoep met kroepoek en was goed op smaak en in buffetvorm.
Het geld dubbel en dwars waard!

The rafting was about 2 hours, and stopped to take photos by a waterfall.
Then the most thrilling part was when we jumped 3m high waterfall along the river... it was amazing.
Good value of money as we combined it with seawalker.
On the other hand, the place was not clean, and at the end where we stopped was not showers nor toilets. I had to stop in a gas station for toilet on our way back to the hotel.
The guide kept reminding us to give him tips every 3 km... which we did at the end, but did not feel comfortable ...

This rafting trip was absolutely amazing. Adventure combined with great views and a lovely lunch. Only downside was our driver. He was constantly speeding up and then pumping the breaks making me a little nauseous. After we asked to drive more smoothly he did improve his driving but the damage was already done nausea wise. However, I would absolutely recommend rafting on this river and BIR made it a very pleasant experience.
