I thoroughly enjoyed my walking tour of Bandung with Mirdha. I had said that I was interested in architecture and local culture. Mirdha prepared a great tour showing me notable buildings, many from the Dutch Colonial period. Mirdha was very knowledgable and was able to give me the history and many anecdotes and side stories to make the tour informative and interesting.
I thought the tour price was reasonable, and it did include a stop at a famous bakery, which unfortunately was closed due to the old age of the bakers! That will have to wait for another day.

My wife and I had a fantastic walking and food tour of Bandung with Anindito and Nadya. They were both so informative telling us all about Bandung as we walked around and frequently we stopped to sample local food that was all so good! The tour took us to places that we wouldn’t have found on our own and we really appreciated the insider knowledge that they provided. We don’t understand why more western tourists don’t visit Bandung because we had a great time and ate some amazing food. If you end up in Bandung, you must book a tour with Cerita- you won’t regret it!

Cerita Bandung has successfully helped me to answer lots of questions inside my mind related to the story of Bandung both the pepole and heritage building.
More than only a walking city tour, what I have always experienced here is their humble engagement with audience even a newbie like me.
Sharing is caring and strengthening! Since they are also open for those who want to share or strengten the information during the trip.
Special thanks to Kang Farhan & Teh Gadis who were amazingly taking me to Pandu Ereveld Bandung. It took me to the past of Bandung in 1900s~

Cerita Bandung is one of the unique travel agents that I ever met. If you like being a pedestrian and sharing history from a different perspective, the walking tour activities with many routes are suitable for you. You will meet with a competent storyteller that tells you many stories that you never found in any textbooks, in some routes you will be shown into unexpected sightseeing, full of history. In other routes, they will bring you to a culinary place that has many stories in every bite. They even have the most unique route that brings you to a peaceful cemetery in Pandu, one of a route that I want to join in, soon! The walking tour activities are even set as a pay-as-you-wish tour! FYI, if you are lucky enough to get the slot, you will seek another route until you completed all the routes. It’s being an addiction.

Rute tripnya diperbanyak lagi. Khususnya rute JalaninAja. Selebihnya sih pengalaman yang didapat selama ngikutin 3 kali trip seru banget dan bakal ketagihan terus sih hehe

A great way to tell a story, seeing the places where the story/history actually happened.
Also, the best way to experience this is to interact with people and have the mindset of meeting new people, as well as listening to stories about the past and have a bit of work out, since you are going to walk quite a bit.
I myself went on a tour just wanting to listen to stories and maybe walk a bit, and was a bit bothered by how much walking there was. But then again, that's on me. The rests between walks can be quite long and boring if you are just passively listening like I did, and the social situation encourage a healthy discussion. Nevertheless, the narration presented were interesting, with some humor and intriguing trivia that will perk your ears up even when you start to glaze over.
Overall, that was a great experience, and even though you should be social and active to get the most out of it, being a passive listener is still enjoyable, since they don't force you to interact with people.

The best part of this was tracking with some old friend and the newer ones. On the way to every destination we got dirt and some laugh. All of the trip was not the same, each have some moment that you can't take it simply just "oh i've been there." Well, it was the best experience you could have to stress relieving.

Acara nya keren bnyk educasi dan pengetahuan yang luar biasa dalam sejarah BDG... Hnya sisi sisi yang kurang adalah tdk ada kuliner nya dan acara nya hnya sbntr bngt... Biar mkin asyik dan mantullll sampe jam. 1 atau 2 sekalian makan siang bersama di tempat kuliner legenda
