Nangka Waterfall is a beautiful natural tourist spot. suitable for spending the weekend with a breath of very fresh air at a friendly entry price. hopefully can be your reference when visiting Bogor

The trip from Bogor to Nangka Waterfall was an adventure in itself. The weather can be very changeable, so be prepared for heat and rain. There are easy paths to the waterfall and the facilities seem to have been recently upgraded. Friendly locals selling food and drink can be found along the way and there are lots of monkeys to keep you entertained if you need to wait while you shelter from the rain. Like anywhere, my trip was made much more enjoyable by having a lovely guide.

Quite a short hike to reach the location, about 200 meters from the entry gate. You need to went through a little river & rocky to achieve the waterfall (curug). Watch out for the heavy current, especially in rainy season. You could swim or have a quick dip at the waterfall if you want too & if its not too crowded.
Location is very nice, neat & not too many hawkers, they manage the place quite good. Even though you could still find trash at some places, too bad. There are already concrete stairs with handles to ease your hike to the place & also some resting areas/places. You even could have a quick picnic there, just bring your mat & foods, but please be aware of the monkeys.
If you travel with kids, I would recommend you to go straight to the 2nd waterfall. The route are easier & scene should be the same.
Recommendations : use sandals, bring your umbrella/jacket/rain coat incase its raining. Go early in the morning to avoid crowds, we were there from 8 to 11 AM. Watch out for monkeys they tend to take visitors belongings. Also please enjoy the scenery by supporting the locals, having a cup of black coffee & roasted corns while having small talks with the locals will surely brighten up your day.

Auf dem Weg dahin hat es angefangen zu regnen und hatte fast aufgehört als wir angekommen sind (zum Glück). Sehr schön zu sehen, aber im Fluss ist etwas Müll.
Wir sind dann noch weiter hoch zum Zufluss des Wasserfalls. Hier war gerade eine Militärübung und Bauarbeiten.

Di Hari Lebaran I 2019, tepatnya 5 juni 2019 sy dan pasangan pergi ke curug nangka bermodalkan google maps dan baca review / peengalaman teman dari google dan beberapa blog. kami naik kereta dr stasiun tanjung barat tujuan stasiun bogor Rp. 3.000,- saja /orang. turun dari stasiun bogor, dilanjutkan angkot B 10 yang warna hijau turun di Bogor trade mall, hanya sekitar 15menitan . lalu menunggu angkot warna biru nomor B01 tujuan curug nangka, karena lebaran hari I jalanan bogor begitu macet sangat.. perjalanan dari BTM menuju curug nangka memakan waktu 1,5 - 2 jam perjalnan, supir ankgotnya banyak memotong jalan dan ini lebih cepat karena jalur yang padat sekali bogor hari itu. harga nya 10,000 / orang
turun di curug nangka, kita naik ojek seharga 15rribu satu motor berdua untuk diantar ke gerbang curug nangka. biaya masuk 6ribu rupiah..jalan menanjak tidak terlalu terjal, landai dan pemandangan yang lumayan lha.. gemericik air, jangan takut lapar banyak penjaja makanan, dan sampai di ujung volume air tidak terlalu banyak tapi lumayan tidak terlalu mengecewakan.
oh iya banyak monyet berkeliaran, jadi hati2 menggunakan kacamata, topi takut diambil mereka.
secara keseluruhan 7/10 lha, untuk anak jakarta yang haus liburan di alam.

Its a quick getaway for my wife and I. The trip took us 45 min drive from Bogor city.
Once we get to the gate, we were charged 15k per person and 15k for our car. (Not sure about motorcycle). Parking is easy to find but I recommend you to come as early as 6-7 o'clock in the morning as its still plenty of spot available and also small amount of visitors in the area.
We start walking for about 200 m from parking spot already the trail path flocked with mini shops selling foods. No need to worry about foods as there are plenty of them and for the next 2Km walking further. Also, theres public restroom available. I suggest to bring small money with you.
After 20min hiking, we are finally in the waterfall. The scenery is amazing, water is super chilly and refreshing. I took a quick dip. It was so fresh!
Overall experience is really nice. I think we will come back here again anytime soon.
What can be improved is the availability of trash can and more awareness of people throwing stuff (especially smoking) gosh seems like nobody cant live without cigarette up in this place.
Suggestion visit time: working days are the best. But on the weekend, try to come between 6-7.

Curung Nangka adalah salah satu dari sekian banyak pilihan wisata alam dalam bentuk curung atau air terjun di Bogor. Meski tidak terlalu besar, air terjun ini tetap menjadi objek wisata yang menarik untuk dikunjungi karena menawarkan suasana alam yang segar dan indah.
Lokasinya berada di kaki Gunung Salak. Tepatnya di Desa Sukajadi, Kecamatan Tamansari, Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Curug Nangka adalah daerah hutan pinus sehingga udara di sekitarnya terasa sangat segar. Air terjun ini berada di kawasan wisata yang telah dikembangkan menjadi salah satu alternatif nuansa wisata alam di Bogor.
Daya tarik air terjun di curung nangka ini adalah memiliki 3 bagian air terjun, yang masing-masing memiliki ketinggian 10 hingga 20 meter yaitu Curug Daun dan Curug Kawung. Jarak antara satu air terjun dan yang lainnya sekitar 1 km. Air terjun Nangka terletak di ketinggian 750 meter di atas permukaan laut yang memiliki suhu rata-rata 22-24 derajat Celcius.
Air terjun Curung Nangka memiliki debit air yang tidak terlalu tinggi. Air segera jatuh ke tumpukan batu di bawahnya untuk mengalir ke aliran berbatu. suasana alami di sekitar air terjun menjadikannya tempat yang ideal untuk menghilangkan kepenatan.

We have only one day holiday for spending time together with friends. We chosed this place due to quite close from Jakarta. We did trip by motorcycle from Jakarta to here. Once you arrive here you will enjoy the nature and feel the fresh and super cold water from the mountain. The sightseeing surrounding was amazing and the rainforest is really super amazing. This place is fully super enjoyable.
