Sam Po Kong wihara merupakan wisata religi dan sejarah. Lokasi di tengah kota sangat mudah di jangkau, Banyak spot-spot instagramable.

Bangunan Bagus, kesini pas sepi jadi nyaman. bagus buat foto-foto, saat mendung saja gerah,gpp sih tp sayangnya banyak biaya tambahan.

It's a historical building in Semarang where the great Admiral Cheng Ho of China landed. I used to go here with my cousins during school holiday when I was a kid, that was some 35-40 years ago. It's all different now. It used to be free to enter but now you must pay to enter the site for viewing from the carpark area and pay another fee to enter the building itself. In one of the temple building there is the anchor from one of Cheng Ho's fleet I think, and one thing that make me amazed is the tree's hanging roots that shaped as chains. There's a tall statue of him in front of the temple. The temple looks great and seems to be well maintained so it's great to know that. Probably that's the purpose of the fee.

saya kesini sekitar bulan 7 2022 dan saat di dalam sini saya menjumpai oknum yang memkasa untuk membaca2 kita dengan ayat2 suci dari agama mayoritas, padahal saat itu saya tidak mau namun oknum ini terkesan memaksa, setelah itu mereka meminta tarif, saat itu rasanya sekitar 50.ooo rupiah totalnya dengan biaya kemenyan dll, sangat menggangu kenyamanan saat berwisata, mohon ditindak .lokasinya di kuil yang paling bawah dekat pohon beringin

One of the Biggest Temples / Vihara that I ever seen!
Lots of historical buildings / Temples inside and has a huge Parking Lot! But be aware of local Pungli and they will take you more money for parking. Just tell them you already paid!
The Entrance Fees was 20k/person for just the Temple's Yard.
Still a breathtaking Temple!

Sam Poo Kong is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Semarang. With the typical Chinese architecture, and the dominance of red and yellow colour, it makes this Buddhist Temples even more beautiful.
Sam Poo Kong is a historical place to commemorate Admiral Cheng Ho who had anchored in North Java.During the pandemic, entry ticket price will be charged, Weekdays Rp.10.000 and weekend Rp.12.000 for adults . There are public facilities such as toilets, large parking lots, prayer rooms, culinary center. very strategic location and easy to access.

Kelenteng Sam Poo Kong didirikan sebagai penghormatan kepada Laksamana Cheng Ho yang pernah singgah di tempat ini. Komplek kelenteng ini sangat luas terdapat beberapa bangunan berwarna merah yang sangat menarik, serasa seperti berada di China. Tidak semua bangunan bisa dimasuki kecuali untuk ummat Buddha yang ingin sembahyang. Sekeliling kelenteng sangat Instagramable untuk spot foto. Terdapat juga patung besar Laksamana Cheng Ho di halaman kelenteng, walaupun Laksamana Cheng Ho seorang muslim, warga Tionghoa tetap menghormatinya. sebagai leluhur.

Bagus banget untuk foto-foto, protokol kesehatan pun dijaga. Kalau mau agak sepi datangnya pas weekday jadi puas foto-fotonya.

Visiting Semarang is not going to be completed if you haven’t visit this temple.
Sam Po Kong temple is the oldest Chinese temple in Semarang. This temple is not solely for Buddhist or Tao, but rather functions as a place of worship for people of various ethnicities and religious groups.
This temple is painted with a magnificent red color and crowned with a triple-layered pagoda-style roof, typical of East Asian culture. Really beautiful...
It’s worth to make a visit at least once when you’re around.

Wisata budaya bercampur religi untuk agama tertentu.
Menyenangkan berkunjung kesini, tetapi jangan lupa membawa payung jika siang hari karena sangat panas. Pohon ada di pinggir sehingga teduh dan nyaman untuk istirahat. Berfoto budaya sangat baik disini

kalo dari arah simpang lima....adakah kendaraan umum yang melalui kelenteng ini?

Ada kendaraan umum, yang sering disebut dengan angkot. Namun tidak bisa 1 kali naik kendaraan umum langsung sampai tujuan, harus 2-3 kali berganti angkot. Biaya total untuk naik angkot sekitar Rp. 15.000/orang untuk 2-3 pergantian angkot.
Namun apabila menggunakan taxi, tidak akan melebihi Rp. 50.000. Silahkan diputuskan sendiri saja lebih hemat biaya & hemat waktu yang mana.
