Lokasi yang lumayan bagus untuk dikunjungi saat kita berlibur atau berkunjung ke Surakarta. Namun apabila anda membawa kendaraan roda 4, maka anda harus berjalan kaki untuk bisa masuk ke lokasi kampung batik Laweyan.

Di sepanjang jalan, kanan kiri banyak toko-toko penjual batik dari harga yang terjangkau sampai yang mahal.

jalan-jalan ke solo menyempatkan waktu untuk berkunjung ke pusat batik laweyan dan membeli barang produksi dalam negeri yang cantik dan menikmati kulineran ala solo, sekaligus melihat pemandangan alam yang asri dan menenangkan, subhanallah..indahnya alam Indonesia ku. Aku Cinta Indonesia.

As part of my wedding weekend festivities, my husband and I took 40 guests to Laweyan. Despite booking a few months ahead, the tour coordinator from Forum Batik Laweyan only told us on D-2 that all batik-making activities close on Sundays. We managed to pay 8 artists to come to work that day so that my guests could see how batik were made.
So clearly, avoid visiting on Sunday. The walking tour was hot and there wasn't any good resto nearby. Looking back, we'd rather visit Danar Hadi or Go Tik Swan museum instead.

Pilih sendiri batik yang kamu suka, dengan harga-harga yang terjangkau. Bisa beli lembaran (kain), atau pakaian jadi.

It's a good previllege to have couple bikes from the review i wrote for our hotel. It provided by TripAdvisor. So we went to the Kampoeng Batik Laweyan that located about 3 km from our hotel, via Dr. Radjiman street. Actually we're not looking for batik since we bought it in another place. But in the kampoeng Laweyan, you can find the batik boutique, the home industry of batik and the atmosphere of classic colonial settlement that enhance with mural. And the best way to explore this place is by bike, with your couple or family.

This is like a whole "village" with stores specialising in every kind of batik, worked on traditional cotton fabric as well as on crepe and on silk. One can buy fabric by the metre or there are maddening choices of outfits, traditional and modern, to agonize over! After doing an initial recce of the stores on the main road and on the streets behind, we settled on one place which had a huge choice, very helpful assistants, and prices which suited our purses. I am absolutely delighted with all the treasures we came away with and can't wait to show them off. But every shopper should do their own thing...buy something from a variety of stores or as we did. Whatever your shopping method, it is impossible to be disappointed.

Just little streets with lots of batik shops. Prices reasonable and can negotiate probably around 25 - 30% off. They are not pushy.

this is 'kampung size' street, so the car can access but not recommended for parking when you're sightseeing the kampung. You can park the car in bigger street, and walk to Laweyan. It's about 50-100m.

You can contact the leader of community in Kampung Batik Laweyan. To learn about batik from A to Z, need about 5 days. From design, colouring till finish. About Rp. 2,5 jt (million rupiahs) per person for 5 days. And you need to book first. 3. I don't about diffrent cost. Thats all I know but i took it 2 years ago. I dont know if change or not.

Middle up kalau harga di lokasi ini. Jika ingin berbelanja, saran saya lebih baik di Sri Ratna, Jl. Gatot Subroto, Jayengan, Serengan, Solo. Lumayan lengkap dari yang murah banget sampai yang mahalnya, ada semua.

1.if you mean to make a batik dress, the process more or less the same with other material
2. but if you mean how long to make a piece of "kain batik tulis", it will take much longer time, depends how difficult the motif is, it can takes some months to make a piece of "batik tulis" from a white plain textile material into a beautiful art work
