We had the pleasure to take the 3d2n trip with Hidayat, who was very responsive on whatsapp and help us arrange the trip even with our special wishes (pickup from Surabaya at 23:00 so that we can go directly to the hike; allowed us to book our own hotel in Bangyuwangi as we wanted a bit more high-end hotel for our honeymoon). The trip to Bromo from Surabaya was quite exhausting with so little sleep, so if you have the time, do sleep over in the village next to Bromo the night before. Mt Bromo sunrise viewpoint is not a 'real hike' - just 10min up the hill after riding a jeep almost to the top, and it's cold up there so make sure to wear warm clothes (or a blanket). There are many tourists everywhere but we counted with that anyway, and it's not a problem to avoid having them all in the pictures ;).
The ca 6h ride to Banyuwangi was not easy after the lack of sleep but also totally worth it as the hike to Ijen was really rewarding, also thanks to the very nice local guide Sugi. The hike is pretty steep for a while but definitely doable and the views on top breathtaking (even though in the time we were visiting it was not possible to see the blue flame due to increased volcanic activity in the crater).
Both Hidayat and Sugi were fun to talk to and made sure we took thousands of pictures (and also took many of us). We are happy that we did this trip with them.
The ca 6h ride to Banyuwangi was not easy after the lack of sleep but also totally worth it as the hike to Ijen was really rewarding, also thanks to the very nice local guide Sugi. I never wrote a review before but this time I'm writing for this company for the good attitude and excellent service of the tourguide (Fahmi & Hidayat) and their superb phonegraphy skills that allowed me to record many great memories in East Java.
We travel in a big group of friends. To our surprise, East Java is so beautiful and beyond our expectation. Thanks to Fahmi and Hidayat for bringing us to see such beautiful sea of clouds in Mount Bromo.
Although we went during rainy season, it's perfectly fine to visit Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen. However, it may not be so suitable to visit the waterfalls during rainy season. Might come back to waterfalls during non-rainy season.
超值得的一次旅游. 不只有美丽的景色，更让我体会的是，风土人情，最难得是让我觉得现在的我多么幸福.

Can not ask for more.
We had 4D3N East Java trip to Ijen - Tumpak Sewu - Bromo. Famil, our tourguide even offer us 1 more place, Madakaripura waterfall , which cost him more 2 hours with no extra fee.
Bromo taxi have the best price compare to many agents I'd searched. I even suspected it’s a scam at first because the price was so good until reading good review for their service on trip advisor.
The best part of the tour is taking dip in the cool Tumpal Sewu waterfall. The way to go down a litte bit hard but don't worry, Famil will instruct you how to do it easily and safety.
I really enjoy the trip with beautiful places and nice local people. And most of all, the comfortable feeling make this trip unforgetable. The all-time driver, Famil, also the tour guide and photographer. He calm, nice, and always try his best to make us safe and enjoy the trip. He even used his hot-herb oil to ease my foot pain from walking too much.
We highly recommend doing a tour with Bromo Taxi, and don't forget a good tip to encourage the tourguide's efforts, cause you will see, their efforts is far beyond your expectations.

Our guide Fahmi went the extra mile to ensure that we had a great time and everything was taken care of! The three places (Bromo, Tumpak Cewu Waterfall and Ijen) were really beautiful! Fahmi is also a great driver and an excellent guide! The tour was really worth every penny!

Excellent 4D3N East Java trip! Got to see the big 3 attractions. Fahmi, our tour guide, was extremely professional and friendly! Brought us along for the attractions while driving long hours despite waking up early. No scams no hidden fees. Everything well taken care of. Really thankful to chance upon this tour group online. Highly recommended!!

We had a wonderful trip to East Java with Bromo Taxi. Our guide Fahmi is friendly, patience, awesome guide and driver. He help us to arrange trip itinerary, try his best to fulfill our request. At first we didn’t plan to go down to the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, but he managed to convince us to do so at last. We had a wonderful & fun time and enjoyed every bit. He is also a great photographer and made sure to get all the best snaps of us at the sunrise and find the best spots. We highly recommend Bromo Taxi and will be using their service again in the future.

If you wish to visit the famous Ijen Bromo Tumpak Cewu route in Java, you have to book with Bromo Taxi. They excellently exceed my expectations and give me the best experience that I’ll never forget.
Price: The price is unbeatable! Very reasonable for the long route and everything is included (accommodation, local guide, entrance fees, etc.), except for food. We’ve checked with many tour operators and Bromo Taxi’s price is only 2/3 or even 1/2 compared to the competitors. You can pay a small part of the price at the beginning of the tour, and the rest at the end.
Safety: We are 2 female travelers from Vietnam and feel very safe during the trip. Hidayat, our driver, takes care of us very well. He always asks if we need anything along the way to accommodate, and reminds us to check the luggage every time we leave a place.
Comfort: We feel very comfortable. The car is a minivan so it’s quite spacious for the two of us. The seat can turn into a flat lay bed if you need to sleep (and you should, since you’re on the road a lot). We also take multiple stops along the way to go to the toilet, buy food, and take photos.
Driver & guide: The highlight of the trip is our all-time favorite driver, Hidayat. He is super funny; we make jokes and laugh all the time. Hidayat is also a skilled photographer. At Bromo mountain, he shows us the secret spots and takes lots of photos from multiple angles to make sure we have the best photos for memories. He even shows us how to pose. And he’s such a hard working man. He doesn’t mind driving far, staying up late, or waking up early in order for us to get the best experiences. We respect Hidayat a lot for his tireless efforts to manage Bromo Taxi’s business and provide a good life for his family. Kudos to Hidayat.
I can write on and on about how superb the service is, but it’s best to experience it by yourselves. So book with Bromo Taxi and enjoy!
