‪Out of this world views and a must-visit natural wonder in East Java.‬

‪Incredible views, do not miss the opportunity to visit Mount Bromo if you’re in East Java or even coming from Bali! The scenery is like it’s from another planet and the ability to get right up onto the crater rim gave us a great look inside and made us feel very small. Do not expect solitude - there will be lots of other people joining you to watch sunrise - but it’s absolutely clear why when you experience this special place!

The organisation was excellent from start to finish. In particular Gilang who took us up the mountain by 4wd was fantastic and very friendly, and Ipul who brought us from Surabaya to the Bromo area and back was great and really helpful and we enjoyed being their guest. The local guides who took us up to the viewing point and also to the waterfall were also brilliant.

Despite us being tired from travelling and without sleep, adding on the visit to Bromo earlier to see the Milky Way from several different viewpoints, and also walking to the waterfalls on the way back to Surabaya is a must do. We have seen many beautiful waterfalls before but the scale and beauty of this one is staggering and well worth the stop.

All in all a must do trip, and we’d recommend Tour Mount Bromo to take you on the experience if like us, you’re short on time and need the travel to work really smoothly.

‪An unforgettable experience!‬

‪the view of mount Bromo is unique, i have not seen such an amazing scenery in my entire life. The driver Gilang was very kind and welcoming, as a solo female traveller i felt safe and in good hands with both Gilang and Andy.. Andy was very young but already taking responsibility for his work. They both were very carrying and accommodated me when I decided to go to the madakaripura waterfall with RT as a guide which was the second highlight of the tour.
Please bring warm clothes, a hat and gloves.
Overall an unforgettable experience!‬

‪I really appreciate how the trip was organized.
Everything on time and the schedule for activities was perfect and full for the day!
Gilang listens to needs and satisfies. He is really openminded. Gilang drove me around all day to explore.
I did the Tumpak Sewu hike and after the Kapas biru waterfall.‬

‪Met all the basics‬

‪Book the tour to take the hassle of planning off our hands and it did. We didn’t have to worry about getting from point A to B, booking of hotel and local guide at the attractions.

We had a different expectation about having a tour guide with us. He was good person to help with coordination and communication but not exactly a tour guide. We were expecting a “tour guide” that would share about the places, culture & history etc.

Really enjoyed all the attractions. As for the waterfalls it was fun & beautiful but honest pretty dangerous because we had to trek to it in slippers (fyi the local guides were in slippers too). Our tour guide told us the path was easy and it’s on a flat packed path. Flatter definitely as compared to both the volcanos but it was narrow and kinda like walking along the side of a “Clift” (steep drop). At the end to get to the main waterfall we need to rock climb to it.

Would totally appreciate if there’s an option to choose 2 single beds.

Overall, I did enjoyed the tour.‬

‪Beautiful Bromo and Ijen!!‬
‪Very nice and well organized tour! We were picked up from Jogjakarta and travelled by train to Surabaya. Here we met our local tour-guid Budi. Really friendly and caring person who knew a lot about Indonesia and also did lots of backpacking himself. Mount Bromo and Mt Ijen were amazing. Quite touristic, however once you see the beauty it’s easy to understand. We booked a 3D/2N package, but would recommend to book the 4D/3N package. That will give some more time to relax in between Bromo and Ijen. For both days you wake up very early around 2am to see spectacular sunrise. Definitely recommend this trip!😁‬

‪Out-of-this-world views and the warmest people‬

‪I did the 3D2N Mount Bromo Ijen VIP experience and it was nothing short of incredible. The accommodation for both nights were very clean and comfortable. Our driver, Arief, was a very smooth driver, making the long journeys between attractions a lot more bearable. He’s also very knowledgable about Indonesia and is very open to sharing it with us. We had an amazing time seeing surreal landscapes and getting to know the kind hospitality that Indonesia has to offer. However, I would like to advise anyone considering this trip to only proceed if you are in good shape. The trip is quite taxing as you will need to wake up very early to catch the sunrise and the hike up Mount Ijen is rather steep. Despite the challenges, I would definitely do it all over again as the views were well worth the effort and lack of sleep.‬

‪We had a great time in East Java doing the 3D2N Bromo and Ijen Tour! The views are stunning and even if we were not able to see the Blue Fire due to heavy rains on the previous day, the trip was absolutely worth it!
Despite the very early daily starts to catch sunrise at Bromo and Ijen, there is plenty of time to get some rest in the car while travelling from one area to another, so I personally did not really feel the lack of sleep. We had Budi as a tour guide who was great - always going the extra mile and he is an excellent photographer! I totally recommend this tour as a long weekend getaway.‬
