Een mooie Chinese tempel op Nagoya die Tua Pek Kong heet of Budhi Bhakti . De toegangspoort en de tempel zijn rijkelijk versierd. De tempel is gedecoreerd met vele Chinese lampions en voor de schrijnen branden grote kaarsen. Constant komen Chinezen binnen om te bidden en te offeren. Buiten staan twee torens waarin zij hun wensen verbranden.
De buitenmuren van de tempel zijn beschilderd met taferelen.
In de aangelegde tuin staan grote beelden .
In de pagode komen Chinezen ook gezamelijk bidden.
Een volledige rondgang duurt tenminste een uur.

It's a red temple where locals come to pray. On the left side of the main gate, there is a line of stalls selling food and some stuff for prayers. Behind the red temple is the main hall where the three highest buddhas sit: Gotama (center), Bhaisajyaguru (right) and Amitabha (left). It's highly serene in there.

This again is a MUST see sights for the tourists, especially the Buddhist tourists. "TUA PEK KONG" actually means the GOD of the LAND, and supposed to be in charge ot the land in their protection !! However, the temple also pay respect to other Buddhist Gods !!! The temple is suppoesed to be historical and much ronovation has been done. For the seasoned travellers, this is just an average sight, as compared other Majestic Temples in ASEAN !!! There is a small line of stalls and shops within of the temple, offering acceptable local tip bits, drinks, snaps..... As it is a MUST see sights , visit it for the experience.

Went there to do some prayers with family. Place was very calm and serene. You can pay what you want for the prayer items via the donation box. There was no fixed amount. I found it to be an enjoyable experience as it was not a commercialized place like some places of worship.

Tempat yang wajib dikunjungi bagi mereka yang ingin berwisata religi di batam, biasanya ada tour yang selalu menjadikan Klenteng Tua Pek Kong sebagai tempat tujuan wisata.

Bio ini besar dan punya halaman luas terletak diwilayah yang strategis dan pinggir jalan besar. Sekitar bio tersebut bpunya ruko ruko yang cukup ramai dikunjungi orang dan juga ada beberapa hotel berbintang berdekatan dengan bio tersebut. Dan juga dekat dengan pasar tradisional.

Many people comes here to pray. The temple is quite big with many Buddha sculptures... Good place for taking photos.

This was our Second stop on the Second day of our 2 day tour in Batam. As it was a Sunday, there were quite a number of devotees offering prayers. The front of the temple happens to be undergoing renovation during our visit.
