Komplek candi yang harus dikunjungi ketika berada di Jambi. Dari pusat kota, hanya 30 menit berkendara kurang lebih. Unik, biasanya situs candi pada umumnya terbuat dari batu2 hitam atau kehitaman. Di candi ini batu2nya seperti merah bata. Situs ini dikelola dengan baik.

This temple is very under appreciated and definetly worth to visit if you're in Jambi. I wish that the government would improve the supporting facilities around this complex

It is a temple that shows us the design trend complex and environment from its time. We realised that one building was for educational purpose. Now Candi Muaro Jambi is also used to enjoy bicycling especially on holiday or special events. Beside all, various plants and flowers are there.

Candi Muaro Jambi adalah sebuah kompleks percandian agama Hindu-Buddha terluas di asia tenggara, dengan luas 3981 hektar. yang kemungkinan besar merupakan peninggalan Kerajaan Sriwijaya dan Kerajaan Melayu. Kompleks percandian ini terletak di Kecamatan Maro Sebo, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi, Jambi, Indonesia, tepatnya di tepi Batang Hari, sekitar 26 kilometer arah timur Kota Jambi. Koordinat Selatan 01* 28'3" Timur 103* 40'04". Candi tersebut diperkirakakn berasal dari abad ke- 7 - 12 M. Candi Muara Jambi merupakan kompleks candi yang terbesar dan yang paling terawat di pulau Sumatra. Dan sejak tahun 2009 Kompleks Candi Muaro Jambi telah dicalonkan ke UNESCO untuk menjadi Situs Warisan Dunia.

Salah satu obyek wisata yang dapat dikunjungi bila kita ke Jambi adalah di Candi Muaro Jambi yang lumayan jauh dari ibukota namun jalan sudah cukup bagus sayangnya kurang perhatian dari pemerintah daerah setempat sehingga kurang terawat

Archaeological Site Muara Jambi Temple Complex is the largest complex of Hindu-Buddhist divorces in Southeast Asia, with an area of 3981 hectares. which is most likely a legacy of the Srivijaya Kingdom and the Malay Kingdom. This temple complex is located in Maro Sebo District, Muaro Jambi Regency, Jambi, Indonesia, precisely on the edge of Batang Hari, about 26 kilometers east of Jambi City. South coordinates 01 * 28'3 "East 103 * 40'04". The temple is estimated to be from the 7th - 12th century AD Muara Jambi Temple is the largest and most well-maintained temple complex on the island of Sumatra. And since 2009 the Muaro Jambi Temple Complex has been nominated to UNESCO to become a World Heritage Site

No they are not. But, the muaro Jambi temple located is not far from Jambi city, it's about 30 minutes. You can find hotels in Jambi city

I guarantee that the temple is a safe place to visit, not too far from Jambi (around 40 minutes) with a very smooth road.

Hi salam kenal. Saya jawab dalam Bahasa Indonesia ya. Lokasi candi ini di area perkampungan jadi aman. Jarak dari pusat kota Jambi ke sini sekitar 45 menit, melewati jalan yg bagus. Dengan pemandangan perumahan dan beberapa kebun kosong. Perjalanan saya bilang sangat anat, jauh dari bayangan Sumatera.
Anda bisa carter mobil dari Jambi. Untuk kendaraan umum saya kurang tau tapi seharusnya ada karena area candi adalah daerah perkampungan.
Semoga bermanfaat.

Jambi is not a big city. You might have trouble finding a tour guide, but may be able to utilize the taxi. There is nothing interesting in this city. The condition of the temple looked unkempt. I think jambi still undeveloped.
