I arrived in the evening and had booked a motorbike for myself, the cab drivers were very aggresive when I asked about motorbikes, keep giving me wrong info and following me around, they need some sercurity there, the guys that rented me the bike had to come find me and they said "hop on the back its not safe here"

We had the best experience through Lombok Airport Taxi. From the initial booking Ketut was most helpful providing pricing for our full itinerary which was very reasonable.
Our driver, Jun was there to pick us up from Lombok airport. His car was very clean. He spoke good English & was friendly & chatty.
He handed us over to Jerry who took us over in his private boat (again very clean) to Gili T & back to Lombok again 3 days later where Jun was waiting for us again with a smile on his face & took us back to the airport. Will definately use this service again & will recommend to anyone travelling to Lombok/Gili

I arranged taxi from Sheraton Senggigi to pick us up from airport arrival hall. Blue Bird is not available in airport arrival hall where you can find many unregistered driver asked you to use their car, which I strongly do not recommend. if you arrange for Blue Bird, maybe they can pick you up from departure hall.

driver taxi kurang terkordinasi dan saling bersaing menawarkan harga tanpa ada koordinasi yang jelas, selain itu tidak ada opsi untuk taksi online.

I used a local taxi driver for my trip from the airport to Tetebatu near Mount Rinjani National Park that took over an hour in heavy rain on mainly very narrow roads. The driver was friendly and drove carefully. His vehicle was modern and air-conditioned. There seems to be some local "politics" involving drivers at the airport, too many drivers for the amount of business. Avoid scuffles and arguments.

Group of 11. Booked this service for a friends trip to Gili T. Contacted Ketut through email, and he was ever ready to provide his service and suggestions. He answered all my questions and request nicely. he even recommended the time we should leave during departure based on our flight time.
He even gave a really good rate for the whole trip, airport transfer by van, and fast boat transfer to Gili trawangan. The van was big and comfortable for the whole group.
We took a late flight, so we arrived at Lombok close to 9pm. Our guide waited patiently while we get luggage, a pit stop at the convenient store, and also ensure we took the fast boat safely.
I will definitely recommend this service for anyone travelling to Lombok.

Sering sekali mendengar hal2 yang negatif tentang taxi dilombok. Namun, saat ingin memutuskan Naik taxi, dari awal Kita sudah harus deal dulu harganya.

The local taxi drivers do not like the Blue Bird app ‘taking’ their business.
We found out the hard way. Booked a Blue Bird to come pick us up from the airport and the local taxi drivers attacked him with a stick to drive him away from the airport car-park!
We had to cancel as local taxi drivers would not allow us to get in the car and were forced to use on of their own vehicles.
Quite a discomforting situation so just stick to local taxi’s and don’t pay more than what the blue bird app calculates for your destination.

Mencari kendaraan publik di bandara Lombok tidaklah sulit, karena taxi bandara ini selalu standby. Walaupun jumlah armada pernah agak kurang sehingga kalau kita agak telat keluar, maka mesti tunggu dulu sebentar hingga armada datang. Pelayanan driver baik.

Hi Would like to know the most economical way to travel from Lombok airport to Mataram? The guesthouse we have booked charges us Indon Rupiah 300,000 per car. Is that reasonable?

I think that's about the current price. You can always try to go cheaper and hire a car with GRAB (equivalent of UBER in south east Asia) but their cars are usually small (not much place for luggage) and I don't know if they would come to the airport as there is quite a bit of bad feeling between local taxis (who normally have to pay a license) and GRAB which undercuts the going rates ; grab drivers in general prefer to avoid picking up customers in places where there are many local taxis drivers...
