This activity is a “must do” when in the region exploring for some fun, easy physical activity combined with great sightseeing.
The store provides you with all your cycling needs (bicycle, helmet and other gear). They carry bicycles for all levels and ages and the equipment is in great shape. They would also provide you with maps, directions and instructions and there is a great coffee shop on site with sandwiches sodas and ice cream. The staff is extremely helpful and courteous. The trails around are very wide and mostly flat. It’s a great experience for beginners as well as more advanced riders. Two thumbs up on our end

If you wish to ride a bike with the family in an "extreme-like" in the desert, well I can assure you will enjoy La-Medavesh. Their guidance on the tours were informative (we took the green one), the bikes were great and the area had several bumps so you can feel a bit extreme, with the family!!

La Medavesh located in Kibutz Beeri. The area is great for biking since you do it in the fields ,in the nature. During winter time the area is full with flowers and red carpest all around. Wonderful place to visit and enjoy biking.

The La-Medavesh (literaly means For the Pedaller) was founded 10 years ago by Erez, the Israeli version of Forrest Gump on wheels. After years of covering large areas of the world cycling, he settled back in his native Kibbutz, BEERI, to start this wonderful bike center with dozens of trails, certified by the nature preservation authorities, for both singles and families. You'll find all you need can be rented or purchased there. the best part are the guided tours to low hills from where you can watch the Gaza strip accross the border. Fun and entertaining!

This is one of my favorite tracks in Israel. The shop has comprehensive offerings and the 30-odd kilometers of single track are great. Nothing too technical and some added historical features along the trail.
