‪Amazing experience ‬

‪We did the 2D1N trek (2 days 1 night) . This involves the first day a trek of 14.5 km which you need to be ready as there are some uphill parts. The second day is an easy mostly downhill trek of 8 km. You will come across many rice fields, corn fields, banana trees, and pineapple plants. Also stunning hill tops we nice views. We went end of April and Luckily there were a lot of shadowed paths that helped with the heat. We saw some burned fields but not a lot and the views were quite clear.
At around 14.00 in the first day you will arrive at a waterfall which was much needed.

We got to experience living with the Akha tribe at Armue homestay! This meant drinking their rice whiskey, cooking together, sitting together. The dinner we were offered was so gooooooood ! The village was full of playful children.

The second day started with a nice breakfast. And for lunch we cooked in the field, chicken on the fire and steamed rice in a bamboo piece .
We also passed the labour tribe were we ate lychees from the trees and were lucky to taste wild honey . Also ended at a relaxing hot spring with a private bath.

One of the most authentic experiences ever. Everything we ate was pure and fresh. We learned about different plants.

A few notes
- During the trek take only some minor essentials. Yours bags will be brought to the place you are staying.
- at the homestay you can shower and there is a toilet
- Make sure you have sturdy shoes
- on warm days , the 1st trek you meed 2 litters of water.
- Long trousers are handy as you walk through plants some times ( we wore shorts and it was ok ) ‬

‪Exactly what we were after‬

‪The whole trip was exactly what we were after. Sun and Wood are extremely friendly and speak excellent English. You get a true taste of local life as well as a good length trek. We went in April and it was very ashy (which we were warned about at the time of booking) but it didn’t take away from the experience at all, just be prepared to have a lot of black clothes.‬

‪3 Day Trek‬

‪The best experience I have ever done! Sun and Wood were just amazing guides, always there if you need them. They took us to all the best spots, villages and had the best camping experience on the 3 day trek on a banana farm with the mountain backdrop. Food was amazing and definitely local. We just hope more people can experience this. Thank you Lanna Trek!‬

‪The best part of my journey to Thailand‬

‪Just returned from a 2-day, 1-night trip.

This is wild and very beautiful hike. This is exactly what I love to travel for, getting to know the local culture! It was absolutely the best part of my journey in Thailand!

We went through rice, banana and pineapple plantations, a jungle, a waterfall, cooked dinner and tasted homemade whiskey in a small, very picturesque village with local people, and on the second day we walked on incredibly beautiful trails and our guide Wooth taught us how to cook food on bamboo!

Lanna trek will show you incredibly beautifully places and introduce you to the culture of northern Thailand.

Special thanks to Wooth’s mother mom for making such a delicious local dessert.

Thank you for giving people unforgettable experiences! It’s 100% worth a visit.‬

‪Fantastic honeymoon trek‬

‪We had a fabulous 3 days trekking with Sun. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the plants, wildlife, tribal culture and customs of the area. He is a great cook too - we enjoyed all the meals he made for us, especially the barbecue by the stream on day two. We would highly recommenf to all our trekking friends. A wonderful experience!‬

‪We hebben erg genoten van de tour die wij bij Lanna Trek hebben gedaan. Een bijzonder mooie, maar wel pittige tocht langs rijstvelden, bamboebossen. Overnacht bij zeer vriendelijke Akkafamilie. Onze gidsen Sun en Ammal deden alles om het voor ons aangenaam te maken. Veel geleerd over het Akkaleven. Bijzonder vriendelijke mensen.‬

‪No review could do justice to how wonderful our experience was with Sun, Wooth and their team. We did the 2-night/3-day trek, and we would do it again! Their kindness, talents, humour and generosity pour into every part of the trek, from the knowledge they share of forest, to their *incredible* cooking, to making the trip as flexible for everyone as possible, and inviting us to learn every step of the way. The trek was amazing - easy sometimes, and challenging at other points, with exceptional views, a village stay, and a serene camping spot, and always lots of opportunities for water stops etc. You could book with any tour company, but if you want a very special, community-focused one, one with a beautiful aim, Lanna Trek is the one. THANK YOU AGAIN!‬

‪We chose the tour 2 day 1 night ans the experience was amazing.
Tony was really professional and share with us a lot information.
The view along all the trek was awesome and the night with the family was awesome.‬
