Kind of a touristy market, and very popular, but still an enjoyable experience. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings only. Plenty of food of all types. The "floating" food sellers were mobbed, so unless you really feel the need to order from them, you can get similar food on land. They put on traditional dance exhibitions, which also get mobbed. There are the usual 5b public toilets, and Muslim prayer rooms as well. Easy ride from the center of Hat Yai. If you come from the south, you can't cross the river with your motorbike. Turn left into the temple about 100 meters south of the bridge. The attendant will collect 10b from you. Then you can walk across the bridge and enjoy!

An interesting thing to do in Hat Yai on a Friday. There are many food and t-shirt stalls, but not much for real shopping. We got some nice photos here

We stopped by this place for about 2 hours. Checking out the food and the items for sale. These people work so hard to deliver a great product. Check this place out when visiting Hat Yai

There got many very delicious food. Very cheap and very good taste. The people all ery friendly. But just only open on friday, saturday and sunday.

Thus is not a real working floating market like the one nearer to Bangkok.
It is a food market made to looklike flooting market for tourist to eat n relax. Despite this, it still nice to visit. The store owner take the effort to dressup in traditional thai costume. Lots of variety of Thai food. Many seatings available. Price is affordable dispite a tourist area. Many more stores selling food n other souvenir and cloths beside. Parking is 20bat inside a temple carpark.

This is another thaï floating market for tourists.
Of course, this is a nice place where you can buy many things and eat many different kind of dishes. But this is just a slideshow for tourists. Nothing to do with authentic.
More than this, if you want to park close to the market, you will probably have to pay for a parking.
Business, business... This is Thaïland i don't like

Went there during Chinese New Year 2020, Food very cheap and also variety. But place to eat so limited. Open only Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Open at 3pm onwards , please bring hat ,sunglasses, handy fan because the weather very hot with so many people. Can find local thai food along the river. There is also another section eating and shop on top of the river place. Beside food, souvenirs, shirts, pants, also can buy in that place. Price consider reasonable. Nice place to visit for an experienced.

It is a small floating market opened at night. Small sampans berthed at the river bank. A hawker centre selling cooked food is beside the floating market.

This place has shops selling variety of goods and clothes and there will be live performances of Thai Cultural dance and etc. The time we went there it was very crowded.

A very nice evening with diverse food, colorful displays and shops. I highly recommend.
Food offered was diverse, fast and very good.
As you walk along the promenade gathering a little from here and a little from there ... an evening of fun is found.
Prices are very reasonable, food choice is very good. Tables are provided to sit once you have ordered.
Highly recommend.

Insteas of tuk-tuk, is it advisable to take a grab car or grab tuk tuk for a family of 3 to floating market? Is it easy to find same grab back to town? How much is the grab rate?

Somehow tuk tuk has become more expensive so you can Grab using same apps we used in Msia

It open from Friday to Sunday only. At 5pm Thailand time is the best time to go until 9pm. After that you can straight to Asian Night Bazar open till 12pm (Thailand). Enjoy your day.
