Very big mall in Hatyai. Can get everything from local brands to international brands. During our holiday went 3 times and it's so huge that we didn't manage to cover the whole mall. 🫰

A surprisingly big mall in Hat Yai with much to look at and much to do. It was a great place to walk and window shop. Six floors, I think

Nice huge shopping mall. Plenty of places to eat and there’s a big supermarket too. Plenty of big designer brands, cafes, boots and banks if you need to withdraw cash or get your money exchanged. Best way to get here is by Grab.

ร้านอาหารตรงฟู้ดคอร์ด อยากกินข้าวคลุกกะปิ ในรูปตัวอย่างมีไก่หวาน แต่ของจริงไม่มี อีกร้านขายข้าวไข่เจียวต้มยำไก่ ได้มาหลายชิ้นแต่ส่วนใหญ่เป็นหนังไก่

2度目の訪問です。大戸屋で昼食をとりました。ここなら日本食レストランがいくつかあるので便利です。
コロナのせいなのか、閑散としていました。
Topsマーケットは日本食材料も揃えてあり、利便性が高い。
ペナンからここへ定期的に買い物をする日本人を知っています。

バンコクのセントラルショッピングモールと同規模でした。一階入口近くにユニクロがありました。タイならではの物として妻が髪留めを買ってました。あとトイレは比較的きれいでしたがここも床が濡れていて使い難かったです。

大概是泰國南部或合艾最現代的購物商場。與新加坡的一些購物中心有相似的感覺。裡面有各種各樣的店鋪（購物1.5 - 2小時）。還有一些設計師品牌產品。也有大量的小吃攤出售當地小吃。還有一個美食廣場，裡面有美味的食物。對於開車人士來說，有足夠的停車位。

I stayed in a hotel just beside this mall so it was convenient to pay a visit here. The mall is quite large that sells all types of branded and original items from the flagship store such as Uniqlo, H&M, Boots Pharmacy etc. There are also various food outlets available and some of them are halal.

Nice modern shopping mall. The movie theatre is very nice. Most of the brands represented, as well as a high variety of restaurants. The prices are rather high :-(

Not recommended to park car overnight at Central festival.Better to park at own hotel and travel to Central festival by Tuk Tuk.

Well, Hatyai main source of income is tourism, you can depend on its local security. You won't see much police, but overall the city is safe to travel and move around.
Local People (with english speaking skill) were polite. Very rare I heard tricky people on the street to cheat foreigner.
For shopping, only 3-5% of shop owner will be rude if you hard bargain...haha
The only thing you need to aware is very cheap night club and very cheap accomodation.
Make sure you get local recommendation (people you personally know) before you visit or stay those places.

How far is Central Festival to Big C? Any idea on cost of tuk-tuk per person?

I would say not very close, around 20 mins. I assume u r talking abt Big C Extra on Phetkasem Rd, which is to the north of town, whereas Central Fest is to the south of town.

Does naraya sold Inside central festival. Can't find any naraya shop in hatyai

No Naraya shop in Hat Yai at all. Bangkok has the most Naraya shops and some in Hua Hin, Pattaya and Chiang Mai

I understand there's a free shuttle service to this mall. Does it pick up from Lee Garden or Kim Young market?
Any free return shelter bus from Central festival?

Do they have a supermaket in the mall like tesco or Big C or any? How much is the tuk tuk for 2 adult 1 child 4yrs old from Habita Hotel? By the way hiw far is the distance from the hotel?

Hi Reen,
Central Festival has a Tops supermarket at the ground floor. The tuk-tuk ride is 20baht. Make sure they do not charge you more than 20baht as the tendency is to overcharge you at 30baht. If I may suggest, my family and 1 ( 5 of us ) took a tuk-tuk from Central Festival to Tesco Lotus to get our cheaper stuff there. Suggest you try this as the price of tuk-tuk form Central Festival to Tesco Lotus is also 20baht. Have a great trip!
