What a gym of a place.
Best magic carpet shop.
If you’re in Cappadocia and in the market for a rug this is the place to come.
Ali was attentive and extremely knowledgeable.
Absolutely no pressure to buy anything.
We went back and forth trying to decide which carpet to purchase.
The whole time Alii was so patience and let
take my time figuring out the right rug.
I would recommend this shop to anyone interested in a honest and thrust worthy business.

This is an amazing place! I wanted to buy a silk rug in Turkey and this definitely is the place to buy any type of Turkish rug. The store has a range of products of high quality and reasonably priced. More importantly were the staff! Mustafa took a lot of time showing me the different carpets they had and explaining the material, origins and styles. Ali was also fantastic in explaining carpets and giving some valuable information.
I was satisfied beyond doubt that I was buying authentic, genuine and reasonably priced carpets with no deception (government certifications are provided). Both owners made me feel comfortable and I didn’t feel I was being forced or intimidated in buying a carpet which unfortunately was the case with a lot of other carpet stores I visited in Turkey.
I will definitely come back to this shop if I’m In Cappadocia and I would recommend any one visit Sultan Carpets to get a valuable lesson on carpet weaving (probably better than the one on the tours) and see the beautiful variety of carpets.

We had a photo shoot done and it was the best decision. The pictures came out lovely and he took his time photographing each one of us and directed us through them. Would 100% recommend

If you are in the Cappadocia region and in the market for carpets, I highly recommend that your shopping experience lead you to Ali and Mustafa at Sultan Carpets.
My husband and I recently stayed in Uchisar and our hotel provided us the name of this business just a short ride away in Goreme. Your taxi will drop you off into an open air living room decorated from roof to floor with brilliantly colored lanterns and rugs - a kaleidoscope of patterns which meet you from every angle.
Just down the stairs at basement level you will find their intimate showroom where the team settles you in with a cup of apple tea and help to select the perfect carpets dependent on size, color variant, price. The team is expert in their trade having been in business for over 30 years and helped us to select a handful of rugs for our home.
They complete the experience by expediting your purchases using Fedex to deliver to your doorstep within just a few weeks.
Many thanks to you both, Ali and Mustafa, for helping us to bring a piece of your lovely country into our home and giving us an experience to last a lifetime!

Came here after reading so much good reviews about the shop. We were welcomed very warmly by Ali and we were shown many carpets to appreciate. In the end, we ended up buying a 2X3m bamboo silk carpet at a very reasonable price as compared to if we buy it in Singapore Arab Street. Price is inclusive of freight back to Singapore. Everything was good and we received the Tracking number thru Whatsapp and we received the carpet on at our doorstep about 6 days later. What a great pruchase and experience.

We bought two beautiful carpets from Ally while in Goreme in October 2022. I can't say enough about how helpful and customer oriented Ally is. We were surprised to learn that Ally lived in a city near us in Seattle for five years a decade ago - selling Turkish carpets! He's extremely knowledgeable about all the carpets in his shop and was very patient with me because it takes forever to pick one! (or two).
On our last day in town we were on a mission to find little Ottoman upholstered wooden stools. We were told we could find them in another town, so spent the day going by bus, then wandering all over the town, to no avail. On the way back to our hotel we decided to stop and ask Ally, just in case he maybe knew where we could get one in Goreme.
Well, not only did he know, but he made a call (to a vendor friend in yet another nearby town), and said, "Let's go. I have my car and will drive you over". By now it was close to 17:00. I was so shocked that he was willing to just shut his shop up and drive us to another town, about 20 minutes away, to take us to another vendor!
We found exactly what we wanted and purchased two of the stools we had been hunting for. Of course, we got colors that blended with our beautiful new carpet!
Long story, but I'd say do not hesitate to give Ally a visit. You won't be disappointed. We highly recommend him and his shop. By the way, he handled the shipping of two carpets, two stools, and about a dozen Turkish towels we purchased at the adjacent store. All the merchandise just arrived (about 20 days later) and we are thrilled! Thank you Ally!

You can find all sorts of beautiful carpets with high quality here. The owner was so nice and patient to show us different kinds of carpets, and even bring us to the mezzanine level which was just like a big showroom for the artworks! We managed to find a nice carpet which could not be found elsewhere. The best place to visit in Goreme!

Hello everybody well, we were not charging anything for photo shooting in the shop so far but we couldn’t handle to have that many people in the shop who just come for photo, so we started to charge symbolic entrance fee $10 usd just to decrease the number of people who come every day, thank you so much for understanding!🙏

Size doesn't make the price on the carpets, the most important thing is the qualityi dyes and the workmenship. but the price range will be between $900 to $5,000 USD
