When we went to the shop there isn't too many people inside the shop so we have enough time to talk with shop owner. He told us very useful information about rugs and carpets. Their carpets and rugs are all handwoven. The shop owner is a very knowledgeable man he is a antique carpet researcher. He has many antique pieces. This shop is quite big. They also have many beautiful handmade jewelries. We bought two rings and a bracelet on a good price. They have very different and unique silver jewelries . I recommend everyone to visit this shop.

I went by the store and the owners were very friendly. He showed us several jewelry, authentic pipes, and rugs. They gave me a great deal when I bought a piece of jewelry, a pip, and a small rug.

In 2011, I was in Goreme with some friends, we visited this store and we were delighted. My friends bought some beautiful silver earrings and I got a beautiful onyx and silver ring. However, I have always regretted not buying the earrings. A while ago, I found Orient Bazaar on Facebook and got in touch. The owner was very attentive and offered me all the help I needed to find the earrings (he sent several pictures, answered my questions and guided me through the purchase and shipping process). He was very friendly and patient. The transaction was very easy, through Western Union, and shipping very, very fast. The entire purchase process was always assisted: Mr. Dilari sent photographs with the invoice, the order for sending, the package. I made the purchase on Saturday and had my beautiful earrings on the following Friday (I live in Portugal so I was pleasantly surprised). They arrived perfect and I had no problem at customs. The whole shopping experience (in person and at a distance) is very pleasant. I recommend a visit to Orient Bazaar to everyone who visits Goreme and likes wonderful jewelry, made by local artisans, as well as fantastic carpets. The store is very interesting and beautiful, a gallery. However, if you are unable to visit in person, you can always count on owner's patient assistance, ask and receive at home a piece of beautiful and charming Cappadocia.

I popped in to this gallery while exploring town one evening! Friendly locals offered me homemade wine and great conversation while I was shopping. I didn't buy anything but upon return the next day, I received the same greeting. I did buy jewelry and carpets. Very low pressure and fair pricing. I had the purchases shipped home to the US. Very professional and my items arrived in good condition and very timely. This was a highlight of my trip to Turkey. Loved the little town and this shop was a great stop! And some cute cats live there too!

Son Derece sıcakkanlı sempatik ve konukseverler.Bölgeye ait el yapımı şarap ikram ettiler.Son derece samimi paylaşımsever ortamları vardı.Sergilenen ürünler etnik ve doğal ürünlerdi.Eski ve Antika ürünler çok güzel ve ikincisi olmayan nadide ürünlerdi.Halıların ve kilimlerin desenlerini bire bir anlattılar.Son derece etkilendim.Kesinlikle Tavsiye edeceğim bir mağaza.Ayrıca iki tane çok şirin kedileri vardı.Efes ve Smoking.Kapadokya da bizi son derece olumlu etkiledi.Herkese kesinlikle tavsiye edeceğim bir dükkan.Göreme ve Kapafokya ya gittiğinizde kesinlikle uğramanızı tavsiye ederim.

このお店に初めて行ったのは17年前のことです。夕食前に絵葉書を買うために店に入りました。店の主人のメフメットさんが出てきて、「君は晩御飯は食べたの？もしまだなら一緒に食べないか。」と誘われました。洞窟住居のような店の中には暖炉があり、薪がくべられて暖かかったです。そこで一緒に食事をしていると、彼が醸造している自家製のワインも飲ませてくれました。帰りがけに「君はもう友達だから、週末にBBQパーティーをやろう。」と誘われました。土曜日の夜にビールを持って行くと、暖炉ではチキンが網の上で調理されていました。この時も自家製のワインがふるまわれ、深夜までパーティは続きました。そしてアヴァノスの町に住む日本人の陶芸家の工房へ遊びに行こうということになり、彼の運転する車でドライブしました。工房では轆轤で陶器を造ったり楽しい時間を過ごしました。
1週間ほどのギョレメの滞在の最終日に別れの挨拶を伝えに行くと、「これはアッラーのお守りだから首に下げなさい。」とアラビア文字の書かれた赤いガラスのペンダントをくれました。200年位前のアンティークの品物だということでした。
「また近い将来にカッパドキアに来ます。」と言いながら17年の時が過ぎてしまいました。今回の旅で10月29日のトルコの建国記念日の日に彼と再会することが出来ました。古い写真を見せるとすぐに思い出してくれたので、懐かしい話をすることができました。そして、また食事をご馳走になりワインを3本も飲んでしまいました。このお店は絨毯の店ですが、メフメットさんはアンティークの絨毯のコレクターでもあり、その知識は新聞で紹介されたり、周辺の大きな店の人も彼のことを知っていました。一番優れた点はこの店で売られている絨毯は裏側に値段が書かれていることと、その値段が非常にリーズナブルだということです。以前はアンティークのキリムを数枚買い求めましたが、今回は小さいウールの絨毯とシルク製のタペストリーを買いました。とても満足の出来る買い物でしたが、忙しいのに4時間も滞在して申し訳なく思いました。またカッパドキアへ行く機会があったら彼に会いに行きたいと思います。トルコの人のハートを感じられるお店です。もしあなたがこの店に行くならば、彼と友達になってほしいと思います。

They have great jewelery and carpets.stuff is friendly and very helpful.reasonable prices and even they offer their own homemade wine.

Appena abbiamo messo piede in questo negozio abbiamo capito che qualcosa era diverso, ci ha accolto sig Mehmet,prima ci ha spiegato la provenienza dei tapetti, i vari tipi ,come vengono fatti,ci ha mostrato così tanti uno più bello dell'altro che nn riuscivamo a decidere . Una cosa che abbiamo apprezzato era che ogni tapetto ha un dietro un certificato di garanzia con il prezzo (in tutti negozi che siamo entrati il negoziante ci sparava i prezzi secondo me turistici ) e la provenienza. Contenti dell nostro acquisto . Portiamo a casa un pezzo dell nostro viaggio in questo meraviglioso paese . Grazie sig. Mehmet per la sua pazienza e professionalità .
