While attending a funeral in nearby Tonawanda, my son and I stayed in the DoubleTree in Amherst. We arrived @ about 3 am after our flight was delayed by 2 hours. I found out that the airport shuttle only ran from 7am-11pm after calling the hotel, because the hotel’s website did not include this information on it. The front desk staff was friendly upon our arrival, and gave us the promised cookies which were very good. Our room was adequate, although the air conditioner was extremely loud and it woke me multiple times during the night. I reported this to the desk in the morning, and the next 2 nights were better. The in-room coffee was poor especially for a 3 1/2 star hotel. Room service was available, although the menu was uninspired. The flat screen TV was a bit small for the 3 1/2 star designation. When I showered the next day, I noticed a pink film at the base of the shower door which was only visible from inside the shower. This film most-likely is pseudomonas bacteria, and thorough cleaning would prevent it from thriving in wet environments like a shower.

We have been happy with our frequent visits to FRIDAYS located in the Boulevard Mall in Amherst, NY until our last visit. We have enjoyed their full rack of ribs with two sides that made the long drive there to get them worthwhile. Our last take out visit turned up a real surprise when we got home. The ribs that always fill the length of the plastic take away tray, held a much smaller rack and where ribs should be, there was an abundance of fries that would accommodate five people. The other surprise was the lack of the coleslaw side. Disappointed.

I went there on Saturday evening once arriving in Buffalo. I was greeted by staff that asked of we had a reservation, of course we did not so they told us we would have a half an hour wait. I looked around the half dead resturaunt in confusion as to why we would need to wait a half hour to eat. We decided to get the meal as a take out. We were told the meal would be ready in about 12 minutes. 45 minutes later we recieved our food. The fries were luke warm at best and the chicken sandwich seemed as though it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours.
Terribly disappointed, I would not return.

TGI Friday’s is a combo sports bar/restaurant. The Friday all you can eat apps are very good. They occasionally have live music on Friday Evenings. The day We was there we had the barbecue ribs which were very good and heard a group called The K-Gun. They were also very good.

Had a lunch here with my family between trips back and for to UB for move it. The food was good as was the service as I would have expected for a TGIF. I have eaten here before and knew what to expect and was happy with the service and food as usual.

I ordered a slushie drink and received a glass of ice cubes with juice and a splash of pop in it. I was so thirsty that naturally I drank the drink up in a few minutes. Take the ice cubes out and you would have probably have a third of a drink . I told the manager that this drink was definitely not a slushie and they should change the description of the drink. His reply was, well it looks like you enjoyed it" No,I was thirsty and there wasn't much liquid there" was my reply. Never took it off my bill, over $4 a drink. He just walked away. Horrible customer care! !!

Excellent food. Drinks seemed a bit small but were just enough by the end of the meal. Clean bathrooms.

Nel puro stile Fridays, prezzi giusti e buon cibo.
L'ambiente un classico dall'atmosfera americana. Lo abbiamo apprezzato ancor più poiche' si trovava sotto al nostro hotel.
Se siete in Buffalo downtown lo troverete facilmente.

Service was good at this typical chain restaurant. Food came out as described. Drinks were a bit pricey. A better happy hour would have been nice.

Went here for the first time because we received a voucher from the Courtyard Marriott Hotel. The place was empty on a Saturday niight which should have been my first clue. We got there at 8:23 and finally got our drinks at 8:40...a bit slow considering the amount of tables in the place. I ordered the wings and when they came they looked like they came off cornish hens...and it was $14 for 12. Now, my wings were good, but very overpriced.
My wife orered the beef dip...she couldn't eat it...the cheese was a processed slice and it was just a mess....again for $14. She sent it back and ordered the seasame Jack chicken fingers, which were actually okay but by that time we were already done our dinner when she got hers.
On top of it...we were seated directly beside another table, despite the place being nearly empty. A little awkward.
Another side note....a family table emptied out a few tables away and the table remained uncleaned for 30 minutes...high chairs left out, food all over the floor...they are certainly not creating a sense of pride in their establishment. Gave it two stars because the wings were okay.
