Atami Sun Beach was a great spot to unwind! The sandy beach and calm waves were perfect for relaxing, and the palm trees gave it a tropical vibe. The night illumination along the shoreline was absolutely beautiful.

The Beach was super overcrowded when we went there and the water was kinda dirty…
The beach was smaller than I thought
If you guys prefer more beach waves 🌊 and less crowd better go to beach nearby where you can enjoy water sports 🏄♀️

In the summer, this beach is crowded with people swimming in the sea, and is also popular for fireworks. It is a calm beach with a promenade where you can take a stroll. There is a bus stop called Sun Beach, and if you get off there, the beach is right in front of you. The bus leaves from Atami Station, so it's close.

Lovely small beach town. Stayed at a hotel with an Onsen. Very relaxing! Lots of good restaurants- Spain Bar in town. Coda Rossa for Pizza at Acao forest.

This is the dirtiest beach in Japan. Trash in the water and on the beach. I saw a used condom on the shore. And the view is of a couple of breakwaters. The surrounding park is ok, and I think it gets high marks for fireworks. But why go here when Kamakura and Shimoda are nearby?

ジャカランダフェスティバル訪問後に海の近くに寄りたくて訪問。
入り口脇にもジャカランダの木があり花が咲いてきれいでした。
快晴なので眩しく日差しが気になりますが、空と海の青さと砂浜でとても絵になる光景でした。
訪問時は6月でしたので夏が楽しくなるような予感がしました。

初めまして、質問させていただきます。
来週初めてサンビーチに行くのですが、ボディボードが使用できるかご存知でしたら教えていただけますか？
あと、クラゲがいるかどうか気になっています。

波がないのでボディボードを人はいません。もし波があっても子供連れが多いのでリスク回避の為、やらない方が無難です。浮いているのであればセーバーのお兄ちゃんから注意は受けないはず。クラゲは一般的にお盆前でしょうね。但し今年は気温が高いので８月初旬から要注意！

昨日から一泊、サンビーチの側の宿に一泊しました。
帰る前に、子供と少し砂浜で遊びました。
そして、熱海駅に着いてから、子供が帽子がないことに気づき…。多分ホテルかなぁと思い、もう電車の時間もあったので帰りました。
私は、朝から被ってないかったような気もしながら、子供は海でなくしたと言い張っていて。一応ホテルにも確認の電話をしたのですがなくて…。
帰ってから子供が悔しくて泣いていて…親ばかですが、なくしたものを、諦めきれなくて泣くその姿に、今からまた探しに行きたいくらいですが、なにぶん遠いので無理なのですが。
こういう場合、どこかに聞けるのかと思い、こちらで良いのか分かりませんが書き込みさせて頂きました。
12月26日午前中に、ローソンのほうのテトラポット付近や、その辺りの浜辺、ベンチにも座りました。真っ黒のキャップです。

お子様もそんなに悲しんでいるのは お気に入りの帽子だったのですね。
あまりはっきりとした記憶がなく、有効な回答をすることが出来ません。警察、ビーチの管理者に問い合わせする等しか思いつきません。お力になれずに申し訳ありません。
帽子がお子様のもとに戻る事を願っていますね。
