I don't think it's worth visiting. The ramen is good, but you can also find good ramen outside, without waiting in line, without paying the entrance and with more choices. Paying to get four news stories about ramen, well, you can find a lot more on the Internet. The environment is nice, but considering that you eat inside the restaurants... Anyway to enter you pay only 500yen (€3)

We chose to go here than the cup noodle museum. We were able to see the origins of the Ramen all across Japan. The actual museum is just on the main floor. The different ramen shops are at the basement. We chose to go to the one offering Tonkotsu Ramen. It was great. Looks like the big vat of pork bone soup was really traditonal. Other visitors just ordered small bowls so they could try all the ramen shops. We should've done the same. But we were already too full with just the 1 regular bowl. We went on a Friday and the museum was packed. We had to line up for about 30mins to get a ramen. On the museum floor, make sure you go to the Ramen Lab. There you can customize your own instant ramen bowl. You could even customize the picture on the lids. They also have ramen noodle makong classes.

Always a fun stop to try out different ramen while traveling through the area. The inside of the building is like a movie set at the height of the Showa Era. It’s really fun to walk around and see all the detail put into the fake storefronts.
The ramen restaurants serve a nice smaller portion of ramen that lets you taste more than one kind before getting full. I really like the tonkotsu ramen. This time we also tried an interesting wonton ramen which was really good.

Adults entry fee is 450 yen. We learned some interesting facts about the history of ramen and then went straight to the basement, where the small ramen shops are. There are 2 shops that offer vegetarian ramen. The soup is miso-based and noddles are homemade and super fresh. Delicious! You can also create your own cup of instant ramen or book a class to learn how to make noodles. We went at 4:00 pm, and it was not crowded. Basement area is small, though.

This isn't exactly a fullblown historic museum about Ramen as the name seems to imply. But rather a collection of different versions of famous Ramen restaurants, with the usual souvenir shop thrown in & some historic facts about ramen displayed. The restaurants area at basement & along the passageway are set in a nice nostalgic old Japanese street setting.
Lots of tourists & long queues at restaurants - order the smallest portion so you have stomach room to try 2 or 3 different restaurants versions. Entry fees is ¥450, with special prices for seniors & students.
If in Yokohama, worth a visit more to try the different ramen versions, rather than to see the museum.

They were closed today and I checked the website and the website said they were open and TripAdvisor says they’re open three 365 days a year. This was very disappointing, but I will try again. Hopefully I can give it many stars.

I took advantage of the waiting time for my flight from Haneda Airport and got off the Shinkansen midway. It's just a few minutes walk from Yokohama Station. Convenient location. Admission is 450 yen. All you have to do is eat. They have half-sized ones, but they disappear in an instant. My stomach is bursting, but I think the full-sized ones are better. This time, there was a long line at the long-established Hachiya. I'd like to come again when a new store opens.

I went there on a weekday. It's convenient because all the popular ramen shops are in one place, but I couldn't eat that many bowls and I didn't understand why they charged an entrance fee.
The ramen itself was delicious, so I'd give it an overall rating of 3, but the ramen itself would be about 4.

While the entrance fee is small , i have to wonder why there is a fee at all . The information on Ramen is interesting , but there isn’t a lot of a story to tell .
The Ramen meal we each chose was very salty , and not very spicy . The meat was rubbery and not fresh . There is better Ramen to be eaten just about anywhere in Japan .
Service was quick. There was no napkins or wipes provided .
This place is more like a collection of Ramen restaurants with a museum attached . The Ramen bowl at the entrance was the best thing about this place .
Very disappointing overall .

The first floor is primarily souvenir shops and a very brief explanation of the history of ramen.
There is also a place to make your own cup of noodles. Much like the Momofuku Ramen Museum.
B1 has a mock old Japanese town with a candy store in the back and a ramen shop in front.
B2 has the multiple ramen shops that represent different parts of Japan. Salt, soy, fish, pork - they have it. They have mini bowls so you can try a few different types.
Cash only.
Kind of expensive if you total everything up.
Worth going especially if want to try different flavors. Go hungry.
