A fantastic street Hawker food experience.! Try the Wanton mee and the oyster omelette, it's amongst the best in Penang.

The long street passing through Chinatown to Little India becomes really lively only in the evening with all the bars, restaurants and food stalls open. The traffic is constant with the practical bus 101 travelling along it both ways.

Het is jammer maar naar de Covert lijkt het allemaal wel een beetje vervallen het wordt niet bijgehouden en dat is zonde zeker vol zulke mooie straatjes

I really wanted to love this place but we didn’t. Every time we walked there - day or night - we saw rats sometimes alive sometimes dead. While I get there are rats in all big cities seeing them in the daytime was a surprise. We stated wearing heavier shoes to walk through as I didn’t want one to run over our feet. I don’t know if it was coincidence or not but we didn’t see any rats elsewhere in Georgetown .

A must visit if you're in George Town with plenty of stalls to choose from that come out at night. Satay and Hockien char were both great.

Chulia Street or locally known as Lebuh Chulia has a long history starting with British colonial rule which encouraged Indians to migrate to Penang. The Muslim Indians congregate around this street hence the name.
Signs of their presence are still evident with a number of nasi kandar eateries and hawkers selling street food along the street and its offshoots. In addition to that, grocery shops selling spices make a walk along this street a sensory adventure.

那邊有很多停車位可以隨便停車，那邊的雲吞面很多人排隊不錯吃價格也不貴很多遊客過來吃東西

Chulia Street or Lebuh Chulia is one of those places that will need multiple visits. The street changes character from day to night. Streets that branch off Chulia are so interesting too like Love Lane and Carnavon etc.
We like the street food, the ambience. Things have changed much since covid. Still a beautiful place to explore.

Signature street food at Chulia Street Night Market - Curry Noodles, Wanton Noodles, Satay, Lok Bak, Koay Teow Soup, Fresh Watermelon juice. The best so far.

The evening wouldn’t come to the end without having the famous “mother and son” wan tan mee, so juicy, springy and bouncing noodles that melt into your mouth once taken and indulge. Added with Pork Lark Is a bonus 😋😋

One of the finest Penang Dessert “Muah Chi” made with added peanuts & sugar that gives the flavouring out of it. Simply awesome and delicious. 😋😋
