‪Great fireshow & well run activities‬

‪Firstly, if you staying at Avani Gold Coast, then the fireshow at 9pm is a must see, they really do it in a very approachable way and everyone gets to see the fire breathing close up and take pics. (Don't forget to take some tips)

They've got a nice little range of activities to do including a gel gun, an ATV ride, kayaks, banana boat, donut ride & jet ski rides. The team also keep the beach in tip top condition. This part of the coast is very tidal, so at low tide it's about 1km out... Water activities can only take place around high tide. What impressed me most about the team is their safety first attitude. They are fully licensed, have a rescue boat and keep a good eye on you whilst you are doing your activities.

If you coming from KL for a day trip, I'd recommend ringing ahead, because water activities times change, but the good news is that they also run a centre outside the Thistle in Port Dickson so you can choose. ‬

‪Shocking experience‬

‪The behaviour of the staff "Zak" was absolutely obnoxious with children. The staff needs a thorough training in inter-personal skills especially in dealing with children. On being questioned about the behaviour a most shocking response "So What". Well I have been an avid traveller across the globe and can never expect such a response from a partner of a 5star hospitality. Trust this will be taken into cognizance and corrective action steps shall be taken. We are not going back again for sure‬

‪Breathtaking fire show‬

‪The 9pm fire shows are definitely an event to look forward to. Spectacular performance by the performers - great audience interaction and captivating show throughout the 45 minutes. Highly recommended night activity! Don't miss this show the next time you are in Avani.‬
