‪Excellent organization and extra services that help‬

‪Nice diving and gear, but above all (maybe comparing to other diving centers I experienced around the world) strong commitment to help customers in arranging their stay: hotel, and activities around Khasab. Also they managed to retrieve lost stuff at my hotel in Khasab and to bring it to Dubai where I was, for free. Thanks a lot again.‬

‪Awesome diving experience ‬

‪Went with a bunch of friends (10 of us) and these guys had everything sorted 2 a T! This trip in particular was a collaboration with a luxury dhow operator (Musandam Sea Adventure Travel & Tourism) and the combination worked well. Lovely night dive (The Aquarium) on a Thursday followed by 3 spectacular dives (Jack Fish Corner, Cats Eye Wall & Beachams Arch). The dive crew were very familiar with the dive sites, super friendly and helpful....overall a wonderful experience. Definitely recommend and will for sure visit again.
Worth mentioning that the team coordinated and organized everything to the smallest detail...thank you :-)‬

‪I made 2 dives and 1 night dive. Really nice and good staff. I recommend alter a cruise day in the fjords.‬

‪Fun team‬

‪My two friends and I booked two dives including a refresher course. Not the best dive sites in Musandam in terms of visibility and marine life but we saw a shipwreck and a few cool fish. What we enjoyed the most was the team of divers and staff who were very welcoming, friendly and generally fun to be around. Had a great time spotting dolphins, had two dive masters at each dive and we made the most out of our time. Lunch was also provided and we were able to shower after. Would go again! Special thanks to Steve, Sophie, Fahd, Katya and Victoria.‬

‪Unfortunately they forgot our booking..‬

‪During a cruise we visited Khasab for one day. In Februrary 2019 I contacted the Musandam Discovery Diving - Team for a two tank dive on the 1st May. Abigail wrote us back immediately and confirmed us our booking for the 1st May. We also agreed a time for picking us up at the port for diving. We were really looking forward to diving in Khasab. When we arrived in Khasab we were waiting 30 minutes for being picked up at the port by the Musandam Discovery Diving - Team. Than I‘ve called them in their office and they told us that there will be no diving boat on that day and that they forgot our booking. We were really disappointed because we were looking forward to diving with the team. Now we had to find something else for that day. Unfortunately we could not discover Khasabs underwater world...‬

‪Great Scuba Diving‬

‪Had a great time in the ocean. Have not dived for about 1.5 years so I was a little nervous about getting my feet wet again. However, the professionals put me at ease and led me with confidence and safety the whole way. Saw an amazing variety of fish and eels. Some people saw a manta ray (sadly, I did not see it). The dives chosen were relatively easy and I experienced my first drift dive. Unfortunately, the third dive was called off (due to ocean safety concerns). The way back was a rough boat ride, however it was quite thrilling and was the craziest boat ride I've been on in my life!‬

‪Poor viz but still a decent couple of dives ‬

‪I was the sole diver the day I dived with MDD. They have a very modest little shop which I quite liked. The dive master is a Philippino fellow named Udel (or something like that); his daughter, Abigail, handles the business end of things. Both are very pleasant and easygoing. I rented all my gear except for computer and mask and all the gear was just fine. The boat is also a modest but serviceable craft piloted, on my day, by a very nice Iranian young man. We did two 55-minute dives (max depth around 23 meters) at two sites about 20 minutes from the harbor. I had no way of judging whether lesser-quality, closer-in sites were chosen to save money because they only had one customer. Anyway, the visibility was quite poor and the water was very green. (I’ve since been told that this is not uncommon in these waters in the wintertime.) Nevertheless, we saw (somewhat dimly) a large turtle, two rays (not mantas), a couple of moray eels, large cuttlefish, schooling barracuda, lion fish, other fish individually and in schools, and some rather nice, healthy hard corals. (I attach some B&W photos.) Udel is a bit frenetic so you may have to tell him to slow down as he guides you underwater depending on your preferred pace. So, especially if you want to be able to brag that you dived in the Strait of Hormuz, I’d certainly recommend MDD. ‬
