I had no idea they rebranded into Newport Resorts Mall and spontaneously decided to see what else they had going on aside from your typical casino-shopping-fancy dining experience. It wasnt until after my visit that i found out about the tragedy that happened on the year 2017 that made my visit all the more interesting. Besides going there alone, It felt a bit errie being there. The place is beautiful in a Utopian sense. I spent most of my time walking around and admiring the buildings interior designs and layouts. It is not as big as I expected. And there is not much to do there if you don’t have the luxury to spend. It is sad that an unfortunate event took place years prior and I think it should be recognized more if you do plan to visit. All in all, if you are staying by NAIA airport and need time to kill, check it out.

A fantastic area of Manila and is very close to the International airport is called: “Resorts World Manila”.
I have been staying at the Manila Marriott Hotel which is inside the Resorts World.
There are two Casinos plus a large and vibrant Shopping Mall. In addition there are several other hotels located within the resort.
What I really like is the large Gulf Course as it adds a new dimension to your visit.
Finally, they have a long Walkway from Terminal #3 directly to the Resorts World, thus making all travel between the International Airport and Resorts World quite easy and accessible.

Staff was not attentive and outright ignored us while we were waiting in front of the counter to order. I understand it was busy and I want to be understanding, but my friend had to loudly call for their attention. When someone finally came to the counter, she was rude and dismissive. Very disappointed in their service.

There is a "free" shuttle bus from the Runway Manila to the hotels, but there are only specific pick-up points from areas in Resorts World back to Runway Manila. The alternative is to PAY for a van back to NAIA airport.
The casinos are smokey environments, crowded with balikbayans and travelers on the way to/from the airport. Several shops are still being constructed/renovated.
There is no SM mall or grocery store; the alternative is the 7-11 or Watson's pharmacy five blocks away, but walking the streets is dangerous because of the constant traffic in the area almost all day long--stay inside the hotels and use the overhead walkways instead.
Be aware they allow solicitation within the restaurants--we were approached by someone WITHIN the fourth floor McDonald's restaurant which disrupted our experience, and several other patrons as well, in October 2022. There were no security guards present to evict the person asking for money.

It’s our first time to check-in here at Marriott Manila, Resorts World Manila. Our first dinner is at Marriott Cafe. Taste of food is superb! Loved the food presentation as well, thanks to the creativity of Chef Jimmy. Loved our classic mojito, thanks to barista, Russel. Most of all, I’d like to commend the excellent service of Ver. My family and I will definitely come back.

Located in one of the nicest and safest place in Metro Manila (Newport City Pasay). You can find anything and everything, it's like you're in another city. Nice mall, hotels, restaurants, and instagramable buildings. And the best part is it's just across NAIA Airport with connecting bridge, so convenient!

Silk Road Restaurant in Grand Wing has the best laksa and I always keep coming back, especially after a massage or a late-night out with friends since they are open 24/7 (I guess).

The Resorts world Manila continues to amaze me with its design. I've been to the place several times already and their standard is almost the same with the previous years. Playing at the Casino is fun and entertaining.

We love Resorts World Manila because everything is there already. Restaurant, Casino, Shopping Boutique, Kids PlayHouse, Cinema, Coffee Shop and a lot more.
We enjoyed our visit there, we play Baccarat, our kid play in the playhouse, we have dinner, we shopped and we have coffee there as well.
We’ll definitely come back again..

TLDR: CASINO WONT HONOR BETS! CROOKED CASINO!
Casino doesn’t pay when you win. I bet over the table max and the pit boss said it was fine this once. The moment I win she says no bet and won’t pay. Operations manager was no help. You can bet if I woulda have lost they would have took every penny…

If going around Resorts World including shopping then yes. As for the hotels if you are just passing by straight to your room then you should be ok. Restaurants will have some sort of dress code unless you are going at the fast food at Resorts World food court.
Do restaurants at the Resort World Pasay Philippines accept major cards for payment?
