An absolute gem of a souvenir store with a great owner. The owner helped with making informed choices and his sister also custom paints some of the more bespoke pieces, which I was happy to buy. All authentic items and some come with warm stories too! Also helps with all the Christmas shopping for family and friends. I absolutely adore the name.
A must visit store when in St Petersburg. The store can be tricky to find, it is situated inside the market behind the church.

Доброе утро! Вчера получили невероятной красоты шары, елочку с игрушками, медведя и троих сказочных кукол. Сделано очень качественно. Не представляю, какая это работа! Они настолько хороши, что теперь даже мой муж отказывается их дарить. Я долго не могла наглядеться! Кстати, доставка тоже сработала на удивление быстро - меньше, чем за неделю посылка пришла в Париж.

It was a wonderful experience. He showed and told me the history of matryoshkas and I ended up buying a beautiful matryoshka that was painted by Elena. I also bought one of the non-traditional matryoshkas of a family of cats. All the items in the store are of high quality and I will be returning to buy more when I go to St. Petersburg again!

My husband and I went to buy some souvenirs yesterday and had the best shopping experience! The owner speaks perfect English, he’s passionate about his job and the products are high quality, Russian made original 😍and we were spoilt for choice! We enjoyed our time there and ended up buying lots of stuff- seriously recommended! This is a true souvenir shop, forget those big ones on Nevski prospect which sell ‘made in China’ stuff. See how beautiful our matrioska dolls are!!!
Also, shout out to the owner’s sister- the products she makes are so amazing- true artist!!!

Sia che le si vogliano piccole come un dito che grandi qui si trovano in tutte le misure e soprattutto con decori che vanno dai semplici agli smalti dorati in lacca. Sono spettacolari veramente e il personale spiega molto bene i dettagli artistici che le contraddistinguono . Prezzi per tutte le tasche

Situé dans un marché couvert en retrait de l'agitation touristique ( station de métro Vladimirskaia ligne 2) ce magasin offre de l'artisanat russe de qualité à des prix raisonnable et authentique. Le vendeur présente ces objets en Français ( il semble cependant qu'il est appris son discours par coeur...). On y trouve les fameuses matriohska à tous les prix, des boites à musique, des objets en papier mâché. L'accueil est vraiment très amical, le choix gargantuesque et les prix, ma foi, fort raisonnables.

マトリョーシカ人形のお買い物は、是非このお店をお勧めします！果物マーケットの中の右側の後ろにあります。オーナーは、親切で、人形の歴史、選び方、開け方を教えてくれました。値段も他の店と比べると高くなく、お手ごろです。

This is a stall inside the market that has the best display of dolls in the city. Mr Max is very knowledgeable and friendly. He was patient and you were under no pressure to purchase anything. He explains and even gives you English information about the dolls and fairytales. Very happy I made the trip out here.

If you are looking for a great range of Russian souvenirs for a reasonable price this is the place to go. What a lovely owner! My sister, daughter and I spent ages here and he was so helpful, kind and knowledgable . It was so nice to be advised by someone who is clearly enthusiastic about what he sells and can tell you so much. We visited in February and google mapped to the market. Well worth a visit. Go and meet the lovely owner who will help you. You won’t be disappointed.
