Basically it looks like an office building, but up to the third floor is a restaurant.
On the second floor there was a kind of lounge where you could sit and rest freely and I really liked this space.
The Sapporo Government Building is right near the property.

The posh, pseudo-French Café aux Bacchanales is elegantly located in Akarenga Terrace overlooking trees and beautiful, old buildings.
Everything is oh-so-fine and ah-so-French at the place (real French people would laugh out loud), and the prices are sky-high.
Unfortunately, the so-called café au lait is a terrible experience (80% milk, 20% coffee), and the bland juice is served with so much ice that there are only two sips of orange concentrate in each glass.
But Japanese people who are unfamiliar with authentic France seem to love the place.

Inside this place are several restaurants and even a food court . A clothing shop Mont-Bell is also there. Outside are tree lined recreational space good for chilling away or just doing photo ops. The hotel where I’m staying the Sapporo Grand is just beside it.

도로맞은편 홋카이도 구청사를 방문해서 사진을 남기고싶은 분들은 실망하실겁니다. 홋카이도구청사가 새단장 공사중이네요.하지만 아카렌카테라스에 입점한 식당들은 굉장히 훌륭합니다.

We stayed at Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Sapporo and Akarenga Terrace is just diagonally opposite us. The building is a five-story commercial center in central Sapporo Kita area filled with some offices, restaurants & cafes, some shops and other services. It does not look the usual monotonous from the outside and its large central atrium gives a courtyard garden feel while providing the building’s interior a bright and airy appearance.
Bldg. has a B1 basement level which is connected directly to the underground pedestrian walkway that leads to Sapporo Station one side and beyond Odari park the other. Here there are many cafés and we even has meal at Soup Stock Tokyo. There’s also a Mont Bell shop too.
We are most fascinated by the exterior of this classic red-brick structure which does garner itself as a popular tourist destination, the Akarenga Terrace. Here there many Ginkgo trees which line the main street near the terrace, coloring the sidewalks with bright green in spring, deep green in summer, and golden yellows in autumn. Always see visitors or locals stopping to take photos. It was Autumn at late-Oct so streets become colourful, most of the day’s hours! we did that too and shared some photos attached. Nice!

北海道庁旧本庁舎の正門の向かいにあるビルです。おしゃれなショッピングモールで、飲食店も多く入っています。鶴雅ビュッフェダイニングでディナーを楽しみました。

札幌駅近くにあるオシャレなショッピング＆レストランモールです。こちらの３階のイタリアンレストラン「エノテカ ドォーロ」でランチを頂きました。美味しくて、落ち着いた雰囲気で快適に過ごせました。
リラックスして飲食されたい方には、あかれんがテラスでの食事がお勧めです。

夜に歩いていて、結構閉まっているお店が多いなかで、開いてそうなカフェが
あったので利用しました。飲食店が多くて、ジャンルも結構ありますが、ロケーションの割には夕方で閉まってしまうお店もあるようで、なんだかもったいなきがしました。

赤れんが庁舎の近くにあり、オープンカフェなどもあっておしゃれな雰囲気がしました。ビルも新しい建物のようで、今風のシンプルですっきりしたデザインです。
