‪Mr. Kenji took us to all the sights we requested and made some great suggestions. Most enjoyable by our entire family. So grateful for Mr. Kenji’s explanations. Highly recommend!‬

‪Kyoto half day private guide‬

‪We booked the private guide service through Inside Japan.
Our guide, Miho Endo, was extremely knowledgeable & spoke good English.
There are a vast number of temples & shrines in Kyoto, so we selected the Golden Pavilion (Kinkaku-ji) and the zen rock garden at Ryoan-ji as 2 places to visit.
Miho met us in our hotel reception & recommended we purchase Kyoto day passes (including hers) as it was more cost effective than using the credit on our IC Cards.
It was a good decision to hire a guide....the transport to these temples was via local buses which were extremely crowded, however Miho knew exactly how to get around the city without any hassle.
Would recommend.‬

‪Best guide in Kyoto!‬

‪Hired Masaki (Makoon) Mori for the day in Kyoto. He was extremely knowledgeable (National guide), completely customized the itinerary, was an absolute delight, and really kept the two teenagers enthralled every step of the way. He showed us all of the hidden secrets...we stopped and noshed along the way, and he not just showed us the sights...but the culture and everyday life as well. His English is perfect and a great/fun demeanor. Great with kids! We chose to have a full day private guide on our first day to not just orient but also get the necessary foundation to tackle Kyoto on our own after. Makoon was incredible, super easy to coordinate with leading up to the trip, and showed us Kyoto’s true colors that you can’t get on your own. I booked him through TripleLights but you can find him direct online as well. ‬

‪Great way to see Kyoto ‬

‪My wife and I used this service and it was a highlight of our trip to Japan. I did not want to experience Kyoto by bus tour and found that by using a private guide, I was able to see many sites at my own pace and the travel between each site would be carefree and fast. Communication was great both before and during our stay in Kyoto. Our arrangements were confirmed at pickup from the train station and both my Wife and I felt super comfortable from the very start. Very informative about the history and importance of each site we went to. I also recommend this service to other travelers I would meet further along on my journey and a few of them used this service and felt the same great experience as I did, which felt great. I hope that you choose to use this service and experience Kyoto in a very memorable way.

‪The Best experiences in Kyoto‬

‪Our private tour with adam started on 10th of January 2018. We were coming with 3 children. so it was a big day for us considering the sites we would like to see were involved much walking. We were coming with 1 infant and 3 yrs old.
Adam was very helpful, he drove my baby stroller all the way around and he was being so nice to my all children.
My children told me that adam was very nice and they said many thanks to adam for being so kind to them.

Adam speaks english very well and has deep knowledge for the historical site of kyoto.

We will definitely choose Adam for our next visit in Japan.‬

‪Really Nice!!‬

‪My family and I had such a wonderful time with our tour guide Adam yesterday, he's knowledge was outstanding and we were able to know Kyoto from a completely different angle. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who would visit Kyoto. We were able to get around town very quickly and see lots of sights and learn lots about the culture and history of this ancient city.‬

‪For Adam‬

‪My tour with Adam on 29 November visited Kinkakuji Temple , Kiyomizudera ,Temple Ryoanji Temple and the Gion district.
I greatly enjoyed the relaxed pace of our tour, and the marvellous information provided about each location.
I was given a great understanding of the significance of the features, history and religious significance of all the places we visited by Adam's great knowledge and explanations.

I strongly recommend his tours which I believe give great value.
Thank you Adam for giving me such a great experience in Kyoto.‬

‪They took me to many beautiful places during my stay in Kyoto and Osaka. Especially Kiyomizu temple in Kyoto and Osaka castle in Osaka were amazing. They speak very good English and are happy to translate and help make bookings at restaurants too. With their help, I had a wonderful time in Kyoto and Osaka. Highly recommended!!‬
