This is a great place for the under-tens and their families. Although the themes are educational and exploratory, there is plenty of simple fun with understanding the body, bubbles (including being inside one), making noises and a giant climbing activity centre. Our grandson (6) had four hours of enjoyment for a very reasonable price. You can go out and re-enter with your ticket.

There is no place anywhere in Korea where the Kids Experience Facilities can be matched. Best. All facilities are cleanly managed, and the skillfulness and kindness of the senior staff provide a relaxing experience. Those with children are definitely recommended. Everything gives us a practical experience.

Visited with my 12yo, while there were some interesting bits esp at the 5th floor (science area), overall the place is much more suited to younger kids.

We brought our young toddler here and he had a blast! While there were certain activities he could not participate in due to age and height restrictions, there were so many other activities for him. He especially enjoyed the bubble area (bring spare clothes as they may get wet). We saw many older kids enjoying themselves too. It's very well maintained and clean. Definitely a must visit if you have kids.
Tip: if you're planning to spend a couple of hours, go in the afternoon. We arrived around 2:30pm and was pleased to find out the tickets were discounted.

Incredibly well organized and very fun place.

loads of activities for kids to do. We easily spent a number of hours here. The only con is that adults need to pay as well, when its entirely a kids activity.

A must visit if you have young (pri sch or younger) kids. Very large two story play area, many interactive and fun scientific exhibits (physics and biology from what I remember), a 'kidzania' style pretend job area, a great cultural interactive area with cultures from around the world (musical instruments, spinning tops), a mini tv studio, and a two story slide. The staff were also very helpful and involved - they often jumped in to show off how to play certain stations or encourage kids to do certain activities. Enormously fun, and you can reenter with the same ticket on the same day. It's just off the Tenshinbashisuji shopping street, so you can pop out to have lunch and go back in for the second half of the day. There's also a huge outdoors playground just next to it at Ogimachi park (sand surface, multiple slides) so definitely recommend a whole day out in the area. And not crowded with tourists either! We did encounter several local primary schools doing outings in the morning we were there but didn't quite mind the noise and chaos, the place was big enough to still enjoy yourself with many other kids around!

館内に入る手前の入口の場所でさえ、ボールの行方が気になり子どもが熱心に見ています。
５Fに上がると、大きなシャボン玉に入れたり、科学的な様々な仕掛けがあります。
4Fにはごっこ遊びの場所、様々な音の出る楽器、異文化体験の色々。
子どもがチャレンジしたくなるユニークな塔周辺は、体を動かして楽しめます。
イベントも日によって様々に行われているので、予め日時を確認していくといいでしょう。
ここの魅力は、
・雨でもぬれない
・途中退場して半券？で再入場可能なので、付近の商店街（大阪１の長さを誇る天神橋筋商店街）に食事に行ける
・隣が扇町公園で広くて遊具がある
・JR天満駅から直ぐ
・ボランティアスタッフが大勢いて親切
小学生と幼稚園児を連れて久しぶりに来ましたが、
値段の割に内容が充実してとてもいい！
と改めて再認識しました。

When we were planning our trip to Osaka, Kids' Plaza Osaka was a place which we wanted to get a look at and which we wanted our 6 year old to visit. It is situated in an office building with the Kids' Plaza Osaka taking up three floors. When you've bought your ticket, you can go out and come back in as many times as you like during the course of the day. Just be mindful that the place closes down at 4.30 PM.
Kids' Plaza Osaka describes itself as a museum though perhaps an educational playground is more like it. It encourages interests in science with displays that double as an experiment. A skeleton display encourages the child to place the bones in the proper location while another display, with the assistance of an attendant, places a child in the middle of a bubble. Cultural awareness is also encouraged with musical instruments from various other countries being put on display.
It's a great place that mixes education and play. Worth a visit.

雨の日でも子供と一緒に遊びに行けます。滞在時間は3時間くらいあれば良いと思います。中にはいろいろ学べるところもあり大人も楽しめました。

Yes there are lockers on each of floors 3,4 and 5, but you have to go up to the fifth floor first and then walk around to the lockers and lifts to go to the other floors

Upon reaching the building, enter it and turn left and you will see a main counter. You can buy the entry tickets there directly. We didn’t go online to purchase the tickets.

If you have children, it’s definitely worth a visit. We speak no Japanese but had a wonderful time. Lots of interactive things to do. Our daughter even made a friend even though they couldn’t communicate. The only down side is that there isn’t a cafe on site.

I have read one comment that "Not sure if it’s because this place is understaffed but unlike other popular attractions where their facilities and workshops are ongoing all the time due to crowds, kids plaza’s kitchen with cooking classes is only open for two days a week and the Creative, computer and aqua classes have hours where they are closed for lunch and kids come back later." , wouldlikento check with you the timing of the activities, as I am worrying that mentioned above is not open everyday and whole day of operating hours.

I am not very sure of those classes as they are likely to be conducted in Japanese so my kids will not be able to understand and will be bored very soon. But there are a lot of things for kids to enjoy inside there, so even without the classes, it is still worth a visit.

Yeah I think so too. There is a special area for small babies, but that is the only thing that he can enjoy. The rest are all beyond her age level, so it's a bit wasteful to go there.

The fourth Monday in August.New Year holidays: 12/28-1/2
(if a Monday is a national holiday, then the next day)
