‪You must book Marco for Rio!‬

‪I highly recommend Marco for tours. He is very knowledgeable, intelligent, thoughtful, and someone with whom you'll enjoy spending the day. He got to know our group by asking insightful questions about our interests, and he then tailored our tour specifically to our family group of six adults. Beyond our list of "must-see" sights, he offered additional highlights about which we had not previously been aware. He explained which sights we should do on our own and made a point of showing us all the key sights that would be difficult for us to do without assistance. For the days that we weren't with him, he offered numerous helpful suggestions for the rest of our time in Rio. Our time in Rio wouldn't have been nearly as satisfying without Marco. You must book him!‬

‪Great Trip to Petropolis with Marco‬

‪If you're looking for a little side trip from Rio for the day, we highly recommend a tour to Petropolis. The city is really interesting and unique and the drive from Rio is beautiful (through Serra dos Orgãos National Park). Marco is an exceptional guide and his background in the travel and hospitality industry lends itself well to his expertise as a tour guide. His English is perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with him and couldn't have been more pleased with the special lunch place that he chose for us.‬

‪Looking back to our recent visit to Rio de Janeiro we're happy that after a one day tour with Marco we were able to schedule a second day! Thanks to Marco we had two perfect days in this beautiful city. Aside from his perfect English and the fact that Marco is so knowledgeable, the way he talks about Rio is fascinating, so while having an amazing time we also learned a lot about the places we visited. ‬

‪The best way to kick off a visit to Rio‬

‪Marco’s tour was one of the highlights of our trip—he is so knowledgeable and was able to answer almost any question. It was a great way to understand a new city, and made the rest of our trip more fun, knowing so much more about the place than we could have ever discovered on our own. I especially loved that he tweaked the tour along the way based on the things that excited us the most. We learned so much, and had so much fun chatting with him along the way. We left feeling like Marco is an old friend. He even sent dining recommendations for the day after the tour. We can’t wait to hang out with Marco on our next trip to Rio!‬

‪Excellent Multilingual & Knowledgeable Tour Guide‬

‪Marco provided one of the best tours I’ve ever experienced. My American family and I took his English version tour that he tailored just for us and were extremely impressed. We opted out of including Pão de Açúcar and Cristo as these attractions take a lot of time and tend to have large crowds. We let Marco take us to the best spots in Urca, Downtown and Santa Teresa. The downtown cobble stone streets showed a completely different side of Rio. I highly recommend it - all while feeling 100% safe at all times.

As a native Carioca, Marco knows everything about his city. He speaks perfect English and is such a pleasant person to be around that you’ll enjoy every moment.

I look forward to returning to the Cidade Maravilhosa and taking another tour with Marco. ‬

‪O Marco surpreendeu todos do meu grupo com sua educação, gentileza e muito conhecimento. Éramos 10 pessoas, entre adultos e crianças. Todos da mesma família. O Marco foi unanimidade. Todo mundo se apaixonou pelo trabalho dele. Destaque também para a van espaçosa e motorista muito profissional. Gostamos tanto do tour que acrescentamos 2 horas adicionais pois o tempo passou voando! Aliás, isso é um ótimo sinal, né? Quando as histórias, curiosidades e informações são repassadas de forma leve e descontraída, sequer lembramos de olhar para o relógio! O Marco montou um roteiro sob medida para nós e ainda acrescentou fatos interessantes de arquitetura do Rio, pois temos 2 arquitetos na família. Obrigado por compartilhar seu amor pelo Rio com a gente, Marco! Ano que vem tem mais! ‬

‪Marco did a fantastic architecture tour of Rio focusing on (but not only) Oscar Niemeyer. He did the nice surprise to bring us to the top of Niteroi where we saw an amazing sunset. ‬
