This Song Dynasty Wall is located in the downtown area of Zhaoqing. It’s very accessible by various bus routes.
The Piyun Tower is located in the North part of the ancient wall. You may also stroll around the Relics Park right next to the tower.

We went to what we thought was the end of the wall but a local pointed out that there is a little walk and you're back up on the wall. The local also took us for a stroll through the old area pointing out things of interest. Thank-you. We enjoyed the wall view, day and night.We went here because my child wanted to see "a wall", and after some research I found this one between Hong Kong and Yangshuo by fast train. While researching I discovered that it looked like a nice area to stop with enough stuff to keep us interested around town. I was right.

I was interested in primarily looking at the tower construction. The posts are set upon stone or concrete plinths and held by friction like pretty much all of these wooden structures. The Dougong or wooden bracket system are huge and allow the lateral forces to focus onto the beams for earthquake resistance. Unfortunately the building appeared to be locked though I could hear voices inside so you can't go inside it seems. Toilets are just past the tower. There are some bilingual signs near the Piyun tower. We just took a #2 bus from our fairly new hotel which was near the lake.

- kind of square:
- north section 100% open with tower and gate
- east section 100% open but completely implemented in the houses around (no wall feeling)
- south section 20% open
- west section 80% open
I recommend to just visit the north section, the rest is not worth the time - but the north is nice.
However, if you been on the Xian city wall, you going to be disappointed :)

參觀古城牆資料時，原來肇庆古城牆是全國重點文物保護單位之一，正在申請入「世遺」。古城牆成長方形，現在保存的西北城牆上有披雲樓，今天的披雲樓是博物館，記載着城牆和舊城區的歴史。除卻七星岩，這裡也是值得一遊的地方。

肇庆古城墙据说是宋城墙，位于端州市区内，目前还处于修复重建过程中，有一段对游客免费开放，可以登上城墙漫步。披云楼也在这一段城墙上，虽然没有开门但是也很气派。希望早日修复完毕，重见古端州城墙的威武雄姿。城墙下不能停车，需要在下面的马路对面寻找车位（地上车位较少，有商场的地下车位）。

肇慶市のホテルに泊まった際に、歩いて10分ぐらいのところに、宋代に造られた古い城壁があると聞いたので、行ってきました。
西安の城壁程の規模はありませんが、立派なものです。街中によく残っていたなという印象を受けました。

This is a mostly well preserved old wall around what used to be Zhaoqing city. You can walk along most of it and look down onto old houses and narrow streets. I particularly liked this area because most cities in China have got rid of old areas like this. The wall is great and worth walking round and it's also worth wandering along the old streets in this area to get a glimpse into the past. The wall is close to the centre of Zhaoqing so easy to get to and no admission fee.

能走上城牆上走走拍拍照,感覺不錯.
這段城牆保留得還不錯,附近住家也都有整理,讓人看起來還不錯.
雖只有城牆,可惜沒看到有城門口,可以看到內外.

今でこそ発達している街ではありますが、昔はそこまで大きな街ではなかったらしく、高さがあまりない城壁がその街の規模を示しており、その1歩が今も残っています。目を見張るような観光物件ではありませんでした。
