Wu was a great guide in Lijiang. I was hesitant on booking a tour but unless your staying at a hotel in the old town, the city is a bit challenging to get around. English is rarely used and taxis never use their meters. I decided to book Wu and a driver to get to see the city. We did a hike up this mountain to this temple and the views were great. We got to eat some local food and she toured me around the old city and the black dragon pool. I am a solo traveler and overall her company was great. We even met up again another day for lunch. She waited with me for he bus to get back to my hotel as well. Great easy going personality. I'd recommend her if your looking for a guide. She also has a dog named Lassie, you can ask Wu to bring Lassie along for the hikes or walking tours as well.

She'll take you to special places and knows all the tricks. She is also beautiful and speaks great english. You really couldn't ask for more.
Also, she was trained be a tour guide by Keith and is with the dog Lassie a lot. Ask her to bring Lassie along if you want a canine companion on your trip.
Rate was 500rmb/day

Wu was really nice and helpful. I was sick and she helped me get some medicine.

Wu took us out to some villages around Lijiang, and she's delightful company, speaks excellent English, and looked after us very well.
She has a great sense of humour and our kids really enjoyed her too.

Wu took our family out to villages around Lijiang, and we must say that she is great company, very organised and adept at working out what pleases us the most. Great with children too.

Even as a fluent Chinese speaker, I would have had much difficulty mapping out my itinerary and avoiding the constant tourist traps had it not been for Wu.
Wu was an excellent tour guide for my one day of hire. She is also a foodie that knows where and what to eat in Yunnan.
Wu is friendly, knowledgable, and honest. I highly recommend her to anyone traveling to Lijiang without a real set plan.

We had Wu for a day to show us around Lijiang and surrounding villages,and she was delightful, my whole family liked her, her humour and good nature.

Safed my trip! Lijiang these days is quite over commercialized and construction work make it dusty and inconvenient at times. Good, when one is lucky to have a tour guide like Wu Hao, who knows the fair value deals from the rip offs, customizes the trip individually and knows off the beaten paths/hikes. Wu Hao is easy going and fun to hang out with and would make the worst location still be fun and relaxing. Highly recommended.

We got Wu through Lijiang Guides, and she took us to the Yulong mountain for a wonderful day out, with the Impression Liiang show, and trip to the glacier park. She is a gentle, soft person, and very enjoyable company. We liked her a lot and she was also very helpful in taking us to a fine restaurant in Ljiiang.
