El Cerro Santa Ana, se encuentra a unos 20 minutos caminando del centro de la ciudad de Guayaquil, está a la altura del malecón 2000, para visitar el Cerro Santa Ana tienes que subir cerca de 444 gradas o escalones, en las cuales vas a ir avistando lugares muy turísticos como restaurantes, museos y locales de artesanía, desde el Cerro Santa Ana podrás visualizar a toda la ciudad de Guayaquil.

Climbed all 444 steps up this hill for the terrific views and see the old church and lighthouse. Most favorite thing we did in a week of touring here. My friend took the steps carefully and slowly and we had lots of people offer assistance and chairs. Wonderful Ecuadorians all along the hill. We enjoyed the history and the whole idea of making it a revived space. You can do this even if you think you can’t. Lots of places to rest and get refreshments.

Quartier traditionnel populaire
La police y est bien présente pour des raisons certainement évidente .
Un sentiment bizarre que nous n’avons eu nulle part ailleurs
C’est néanmoins à faire lors d’une visite de Guayaquil mais un sentiment qui nous a mis mal à l’aise avec des regards et gestes particuliers de quelques jeunes individus .
La police y est bien présente pour des raisons certainement évidente .

Subir os 443 degraus para se chegar ao topo é bastante fácil e muito seguro. A policia está ao longo do caminho, para garantir a segurança. As vistas são deslumbrantes

Spectacular view of Santa Ana from the cable cars that cross the river. The entry for the cable cars is across the street from the Malecon, on the Santa Ana end.

444 Stufen bis zum Leuchtturm und der Kapelle! Belohnt wird mal mit einem wunderbaren Blick über die Bucht. Absolut sehenswert, da viele Gebäude in den letzten Jahren auch erneuert wurden!

You can see these painted houses from almost anywhere in the city. It is worth it to see it from the top Santa Anna. The house has me look pretty from a distance but they are still in poverty. They are right next to the business district so you see the clashes Of classes.

We walked all the way up the hill, and really enjoyed the locals eating and drinking along the way. There were so many small restaurants and random little hidden bars up and down, and it really felt like walking through a small hilly village!

Este lugar se transporta a otro totalmente diferente al ser muy colonial y pintoresco es como no estuvieras en Guayaquil, mis recomendaciones es ir con un calzado adecuado de caminata ya que yo estuve con sandalias y me lastimó el pie y estar dispuesto a caminar durante un buen tiempo

En uno de los extremos del Malecón 2000, podemos subir los 444 escalones que nos llevan al Cerro Santa Ana, pasando por El Barrio de las Peñas. Desde arriba tenemos una vista panorámica de toda la ciudad de Guayaquil y del rio. Un buen paseo

Gracias por su interés de visitar el Cerro Santana, por ahora no esta disponible para personas con discapacidades para subir escaleras, se espera que el Municipio en algún momento haga algún medio para poder subir mediante transporte aéreo.
What is the best time to visit the 444 stairs? I want to be able to go into open shops, cafés and mingle with the local people. In the month of September.

things open up about 9:00 or 10:00 every morning, watch out for Sundays and Mondays though, museums are closed on Mondays, some shops follow suit. Best bet, Tuesday - Saturday 9:00 - 6:00
