I have been to this museum a few times before - before Covid 19 ! - and now I wanted to show it to a young family with a 4-year-old boy.
We were the only ones in the museum, all the windows were open, BUT - the old and strict and unfriendly lady would not let us in without a mask.
Well, if that's the way Thailand treats YOUNG visitors, that's no good sign for the future.

Good place to visit, lots of toys and Thai antiques things, made me recognize to childhood period. Calm place, covered by trees, nice to visit in the afternoon after been to warm places outside. Recommend!

พอถึงช่วงวันหยุดเมื่อไร ครอบครัวที่มีเจ้าตัวน้อยก็คงจะต้องมองหากิจกรรมดีๆ สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวสนุกๆ มาทำร่วมกันเพื่อสร้างความสุขให้กับคนในครอบครัว สำหรับครอบครัวไหนที่มีเวลาน้อย และไม่ชอบออกไปเที่ยวไกลๆ เราแนะนำให้ลองหาสถานที่ใกล้ๆ กรุงเทพกันดู ลองเปลี่ยนบรรยากาศจากการเดินเล่นตามห้างสรรพสินค้า ออกไปเที่ยวพิพิธภัณฑ์

พิพิธภัณฑ์ล้านของเล่นเกริกยุ้นพันธ์ เป็นสถานที่สะสมและรวบรวมของเล่นดีๆ ระดับโลกไว้มากมายทั้งของเล่นอายุนับร้อยปี ไปจนถึงของเล่นในยุคปัจจุบัน ของเล่นไทยและของเล่นจากต่างประเทศ รวมถึงของเล่นสังกะสีจำนวนมาก

Hahaha, erg grappig dit museum. Al is museum een groot woord. Verzameling is beter. Duizenden poppetjes, robots, Nijntjes en nog veel meer plastic speelgoed. Maar ook aardewerk, flessen en grotere beelden van onder meer Superman en Captain America. Leuk om te doen als je er toch langs rijdt, niet voor omrijden. Entree 50 Baht.

It’s torture for a 3yr old who wants to touch everything. Lines of toys he wants to play with all in glass cabinets. Not a single toy to play with for him. No slides, swings, bikes. Nothing!
And dual pricing - why do foreigners pay more here? I can sort of understand dual pricing in a temple - I’m not Buddhist and nearly all Thais are. But in an attraction marketing to kids? Rubbish.
The only good thing was the staff - they were very kind and helpful.
Please Mr owner - make a room for children! Take 50 of those perfect toys out of the glass cabinets and let the kids play with them. 50 out of a million wouldn’t hurt, surely?
Add some swings, slides, beanbags and you’ll actually have an attraction for children.
And dual pricing - why do foreigners pay more here? I can sort of understand dual pricing in a temple - I’m not Buddhist and nearly all Thais are. But in an attraction marketing to kids? Rubbish.

พิพิธภัณฑ์ที่มีเจ้าของรักของเล่น สะสมมามากกว่า 40 ปี ได้คุยกะอาจารย์เกริก เจ้าของครู่นึง ได้รับรู้ว่าความคิดในการสะสมแกไม่เหมือนใครจริงๆ สะสมเฉพาะของที่ตัวเองรัก ไม่ใช่สะสมไปหมดทุกอย่าง เอามาให้เขา เขาก็อาจจะไม่รับถ้าไม่ใช่ทางสะสมของเขา

Saya kurang mengerti kenapa museum ini bisa populer. Menurut saya koleksi dan bangunannya biasa saja. Tiket masuknya memang tidak mahal. Bangunannya pun sudah cenderung kuno. Tidak banyak yang bisa dilihat disini. Saya tidak merekomendasikan.
