Maga az emlékmű olyan mint ezer hasonló, de Tiraszpol különleges hely, egy mini kommunista-világ, egyszerűen muszáj megnézni, ha az ember Moldovában (?) jár. Ráadásul... melyik más szobornál lobog egyszerre Dél-Oszétia, Abházia és Hegyi-Karabah zászlaja? Nyilván azért, mert ezek is önhatalmúlag kivált autonómiák, mint Transznisztria. Érdemes itt pár órát eltölteni, költeni a helyi rubelt és örülni, hogy mi mennyire más világban élünk. Nekem legalábbis pici megkönnyebbülés volt visszafelé elhagyni a határt és a sokkal kozmopolitább és szabadabb Kisinyovba visszatérni. Kalandra fel!

The monument is in center of Tiraspol and around it there are many flags of places that I still have yet to discover what they mean. It is near the tank.

The bronze monument to one of the greatest Russian commanders, Generalissimo A. V. Suvorov, who, during his long career, did not suffer a single defeat and glorified Russian weapons, winning not by number, but by skill, often against over significantly superior enemy forces in wars with Turks, Germans, Poles, French. Any historian of military affairs knows about Rymnik, Izmail and the Swiss campaign. Largely thanks to him, Pridnestrovie returned to Russia, and it was he who founded Tiraspol. This monument is recognized as the best equestrian monument to Suvorov in the world. It is one of the symbols not only of the city, but of the entire Pridnestrovie. A must-see for all guests of the capital.

Suvorov is considered one of the greatest military commanders in Russian history and one of the great generals of the early modern period. He was awarded numerous medals, titles, and honors by Russia, as well as by other countries. The monument is located on a small square and nearby; there are a series of flags you won't see anywhere else.

Real Soviet Life! The Renovated Center of Tiraspol! But still with all the Soviet Stuff and lifestyle! See it in a non commercial fashion with Tim Tiraspol. He took us to very isolated Soviet Villages and had parties with the Village people! Home made wine and BBQ!

Not the biggest statue you'll ever see, but it's very important to the local as you'll see from the well kept park that surrounds it and the fact that it's in the heart of the city.
